The cottage was very welcoming and decorated so artistically and furnished with attractive and comfortable seating and beds. I slept in the sofa bed and it was very comfortable. We dined at the Darlington Inn, just down the road. The Hungarian smorgasboard was delicious! My only disappointment was that I wished we were there in warmer weather so we could enjoy the outdoor amenities Did I mention that the TV's offered many channels? Loved the faux fireplace. We are coming back this August.Cindy

We loved our stay at the cabin. We were joined by our two grandchildren who slept on the pullout beds. The deck overlooking the creek was such a peaceful spot. The hosts thought of everything. Completed a nice stay at Host’s cottage along the Loyalhanna Creek in Ligonier, PA. The cottage provided the perfect access to family and activities in the greater Ligonier area.

Definitely Cozy

This cottage is exactly as described. Definitely Cozy and Comfortable! Very clean and decorated with such charm that you feel at home right away. Doug and Betty are excellent hosts, very responsive and go over and above with all of their special accommodations. Enjoyed our stay while celebrating Ligonier Days.

Over do weekend away

Good location over looking the Creek. The Cottage is well maintained and has everything one might expect with this type of rental property. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend for a couple wanting to get away. The bonus is its close to Town that has a lot to offer.

Hospitality on Loyalhanna Creek near Ligonier

Clean, large cottage near Ligonier Farmer's market and Hungarian restaurant (Darlington Inn) with charming patio over big creek filled with ducklings and goslings! I could go running up Clark's Run Rd. Super stocked with coffees, smore's and 2 cinnamon rolls. Very responsive owners!

Perfect spot near Ligonier

We loved our stay at this riverfront cottage that is extremely clean and thoughtfully decorated. The home is so well stocked with everything you could need and the deck overlooking the river is amazing. It is a short drive into the quaint town of Ligonier. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Birthday Getaway!

We had a lovely time staying at the Cozy Cottage for my birthday! We especially loved the gas fireplace and the deck overlooking the Loyalhanna. The owners stock the cabin very thoughtfully, even down to ingredients for s'mores! They also knew it was my birthday weekend so they even had a cake waiting for me! Their hospitality exceeded our expectations.

Birthday week for my fiance

We stayed 6 days. It has the most beautiful view and everything you need is there. It was so peaceful and relaxing. My fiance loved spending his birthday in this cozy little cottage. My fiance is from Wisconsin so its alot of city life he was extactic to just relax! Thank you doug and betty We had an amazing stay!

Winter Wonderland

My husband and I stayed in Ligonier for our winter break. From the start, Doug and Betty were so kind and courteous. We drove from South Florida to PA and Betty was kind in enough to call before our arrival to make sure we would get in safely before the storm. When we arrived, we realized the cottage was even better than the pictures! It was cozy, comfortable, and they had everything we needed. The deck out back is breathtaking during the winter so the fireplace was perfect! My husband and I loved the cottage and we were even sad to leave, the views from all of the windows was truly amazing. If you are looking for a cozy cottage in PA with great hosts, this is the place to be! We will definitely be back!

Great getaway to unwind

Perfect location and has perfect hosts. The owners have thought of everything for their guests so that you can relax, unwind and enjoy the views and lovely community. The location is 30 minutes away from the Flight 93 memorial, which we did not realize until we arrived and were glad that we visited. Thank you for making our stay so lovely.

Relaxing

The property is in a beautiful setting, with Loyalhanna Creek running behind the back of the property. It was so relaxing sitting on the back deck or down at the fire pit, watching the creek flowing with colorful leaves and geese/ducks. The owners have literally thought of everything a guest could possibly need , great to work with. We will definitely return again!
