It was quiet. Not a lot of people were there when we stayed. Food was excellent at the restaurant. We got a free full breakfast the next day before we checked out. Overall, was a wonderful experience.

Romantic smaller lodge with a cozy feeling. The on-site restaurant satisfied all tastes in food at reasonable prices. The accommodations were neat and clean. The Staff went the extra measure to us feel at home and satisfied..

very nice place ,staff was excellent and food was great

Some elements were excellent, such as the fire pit area, supply of wood, and privacy...all wonderful. Other things are sub par such as breakfast, no air working in center meeting area in the Cedar Lodge, and uncomfortable mattresses in the Chestnut Lodge. Could use some help there, but a pleasant experience nonetheless. Also, the kitchenette area has only a tiny frig, no stove top or oven, so plan food accordingly. Cedar Lodge shares that small frig with all others in the lodge (six rooms of people), so pack lightly.

Stayed after murder mystery. Did not really care for show, but food was delicious! Room was clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom was very large, but hot water was hard to get. Could not figure out how to turn fan off and let light on, so fan made room chilly. Would have appreciated a mini fridge.

My wife and I found this lodge by accident while looking online for a weekend getaway spot. We loved our stay! The food at the restaurant was AMAZING, and the free breakfast was a real treat. Our room was "updated", and certainly met our needs, except for possibly including a mini-fridge in the suites for guests to keep a drink or two and leftover food from the restaurant cold. Our only complaint was that we found a stain on our comforter that appeared to be blood, and appeared to be unwashed. We notified the staff (in the restaurant due to the office being closed, off-season), and they took it immediately to clean it. Came back late that night completely clean. We really enjoyed sitting with some of the other guests that we met around the fireplace each evening, and look forward to meeting up with them again during future visits.

Perfect for a short stay near Ligonier. Our room was decently appointed and we had a great dinner at the restaurant. It would have been nice to have a blanket on the bed instead of just the bedspread (that's the first thing that gets taken off the bed in any hotel that still has them), but we just jacked the heat up. There aren't so many rooms though that doing the blanket between two sheets thing that most hotels now do would be a burden. We've stayed at Hidden Valley recently and the room and furnishings at Foggy Mountain were much nicer by comparison.

Just stayed one night. Got in late, left early. Breakfast was at 9:00, we had to get out at 7:30, so we didn't get it. They did have a coffee machine so we did get a coffee before leaving.

I was recommended the hotel by a friend and I couldn't have been happier. It's very isolated, and yet it's only 20 minutes from Ligonier. It was a nice little get away. I'll be back for sure.

My boyfriend and I stayed here Friday 11/18. OMG it has to be the best kept secret in the area! This place was amazing. Beautiful grounds, lovely lodge and delicious food in their quaint restaurant. The owners and staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We left feeling like we made new friends. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and very quiet. Perfect for a romantic getaway! This has become our favorite go-to place when we just want to "escape" for a day or two. I recommend this to everybody! I promise you won't be disappointed.

Very comfortable and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful secluded setting. Areas to walk around in outside. Definitely an asset to the Laurel Highland area.

Relaxing at trails end welcomed with great dinner with plenty of atmosphere including 8 point Buck over the fireplace.
