The cabin includes an open living room and kitchen on the first floor, as well as a full bathroom with shower and bath. The loft stairs are very steep.

We had a great weekend at the cabin. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek all weekend. It was quiet and peaceful. We visited the nearby nature center and hiked around the stream. Definitely would like to come back and stay again.

Quiet and rustic getaway

We stayed for 5 days. We found plenty to do and see. The cabin is small and quaint. Quite a lovely place to stay. All sleep accommodations are in one room in the upstairs loft, though I suppose someone could sleep on the downstairs couch. This was fine for us as we are a married couple traveling on our own. For anyone wanting to travel with others there would be limited privacy. There are stairs down to the cabin, stairs to get into the cabin, steep stairs up to the loft. We are in our sixties and my husband has bilateral hip replacement and we were able to handle the stairs just fine----but if stairs are challenging for you....this is good to know. Also, to take a shower you must step into a tallish tub. For most folks, none of this is a problem, but for some it's good to know. The host was very good about communicating the check in and check out process---both of which are very easy. I have never had an easier check out process. Basically, all you need to do is pack up your stuff and take it with you when you go. The area around the cabin is scenic and beautiful. This is a great place to stay.

Outside area is just perfect! So relaxing with the creek. Mostly shaded, which was very nice. We even made a wood oven pizza! Sooo good!
