Charming, old-feel (but modernized) hotel located fabulously and conveniently in downtown Lexington. Reasonable rates and awesome on-site parking. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend The Sire!

Delightful property for a quick weekend visit. Big plus location; walking distance to some very wonderful restaurants. Would most definitely stay again.

Everything was very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly

The rainfall spa shower was the highlight of the room! The staff was very friendly, the room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable, and the property itself was adorable. The fire pit area outside was very nice! Parking was easy and plentiful. Definitely will be staying again!

To whom this may concern. I was staying in this hotel for 3 nights. When I arrived on Saturday I was told that the following morning, which was Sunday, breakfast would be served from 7-10am. Sunday breakfast was fine. Comes Monday morning when I went down for breakfast at 9am I surprised that the kitchen was closed and that no one had told me that Monday morning breakfast would be served from 6am-9am. The front desk said the a manager would call me about the breakfast situation but I never received his call. On another note, I put the clean room sign on my door and when I got back I realized they had no left me any soap, shower gel etc.

Just a block from downtown, but very quiet. East stroll to bars, restaurants, Rupp. Great bar on site.

My wife and I booked this hotel for one Saturday night. At first, it was all good as we were able to get an early check it. The room was clean and it was what you’d expect for $400 dollars a night. That’s when this stay starting to become quite annoying. After checking in, we went and grabbed a few drinks. The hotel bar was not open (11 am). No worries, we walked around Lexington area and had a few drinks at different unique locations. Couple hours later, we got back to hotel. Went to our room and notice it was 78 degrees in there. The thermostat was on 68 already. I tried to set it to like 75 hoping it would come down some. Within 2 hours it was 81. I advise staff of the issue as we were heading out and about again. They not to worry it would go down if I set it to 70. So I went back and did so. At 1130 that night we came back. The room was 78 degrees. I advised staff that we needed another room. He said they had one ready. I moved all our stuff from one room to the new room with was now a suite! Only to find the shower did not have a door. It was apparent from the drilled holes in the tile that door where supposed to be there. By that time I was too hammered and too tired to give any F’s. So I waited till the next morning when I was hung over and advised the staff that when we tried to take a shower. Water drained into the bathroom

I especially want to commend Nathan Barker's exemplary attitude and courtesy for serving me a much needed snack at the Bar on the afternoon of Sat., Nov 24. Honorable mention to Mr. Muniz. They make an extraordinary Team.My compliments. I would also single out Alec at the front desk for his wonderfully helpful attitude and eagerness to serve. A problem solver. One significant error in service and competence occurred on Sun, Nov. 25,2018. I arrived for Breakfast at 9:15 Am & 2 fingers of coffee was left. NO FRESH COFFEE EVER CAME. .

My apologies that there was a miscommunication regarding the difference in the time for the breakfast from weekends to weekdays. As most people are here for business, the breakfast has earlier hours during the week to accommodate them. Unfortunately we do not have signs to hang on our doors to clean the rooms. If you placed the door hanger on your door, it is a "Do Not Disturb" sign and that would have signaled the housekeepers to NOT clean your room. Hopefully we were able to get you any additional amenities you needed during your stay.

I apologize that you did not enjoy your stay with us at The Sire. While I appreciate that the staff was able to upgrade you from the standard room to the premium suite those rooms are handicap accessible and do not have shower doors. They cannot have tracks on the floor as we need to ensure wheelchairs are able to enter the stalls. There are special drains to accommodate for the shower not having the doors and again I apologize if they were not adequate to keep the water off the floor during the shower. I do hope you give our hotel another chance the next time you are in the Lexington area. We pride ourselves on our customer service and would like another opportunity to impress you with all that we have to offer.

I am glad you enjoyed your experience at our hotel and at Distilled. My apologies regarding the coffee but during the week the breakfast does end at 9 so it may have been that the service was over. I do wish you had been able to receive it but again I do apologize. We do look forward to seeing you again if you are returning to the Lexington area.
