Our regular stopping place

We stop over regularly here on our way to Charleston, SC. Its always clean and comfortable and dog friendly. The hotel is in a great area, loaded with restaurant and shopping options. (We always dine at Malone's, which is walking distance.) Its so easy to find and accessible to the interstates...just makes for a good experience every time.

Great stay!

Great stay overall, especially for a bigger family. We had enough room for everyone, plenty of towels (at our request), and the dishes/silverware & fridge were clean and ready for use. The only part we found a little comical was that the bathroom door was a sliding door... and it didn't lock. Completely useable and nice, just haven't seen a bathroom in a hotel without a lock before. Breakfast was really good, no one had any complaints. Everything was clean and fresh. The staff we encountered were all really nice and friendly. The hotel is pet friendly, not that we brought one, but we could hear a dog barking in the hall. However, in our room it was silent, so we were not disturbed by any cars, any pets, or anyone.

The receptionist was a little rude, making sure we knew we would not get points for staying there since we booked through a third party. I already knew that but she had to point it out twice, treating us like interlopers. The dishwasher in the room had dishes in it, there was not conditioner in the bottle in the shower and the metal insert was missing out of the door to the bathroom. The breakfast was lacking.

Okay stay for one night

Hotel was clean and fine. Pool was out of service along with a main elevator (pool was the reason we chose this hotel so we were pretty sad about this). The gym was small and seemed unused and the outdoor fire pit was not working or covered or private. A bit misleading given its location.
