The owner's (I believe anyway) greeted me and checked me in with the most pleasant attitude. Place was clean and well maintained. Staff was available and pleasant also. I believe it's an older building, but they have updated and work to keep it that way. Definitely a great place to stay... and price was great too.

The room was clean, very friendly staff. The only issue was a very strong smell of Marijuana outside the building in the back close to the playground and as soon as you get off the elevator on the 3rd floor.

Real reviewer here.i stayed4 nights total, HJ Lexington was a great value for the price (my rate was about $65/night). Place was clean, well run, room was comfortable clean and quiet. Have stayed other places in general area 2x the cost which weren’t so great. I want there to cycle and “get away”. Good choice, imo, especially for the cost. Safari njema (Swahili for “safe travels “).
