We will not be back. We probably will be done with Fairfield in general. We used to like to seek out Fairfield or affiliate properties. After the fact that the bathroom in our room was full of mold and was not clean followed by my complete lack of sleep during our stay. Honestly, I was prepared to let the bathroom situation go. We were on our way from South Carolina to Michigan for a funeral. We weren’t going to stay long, we were just absolutely exhausted! I desperately needed sleep. I had just fallen asleep when at 11:45 the fire alarm started going off. We were all gathered in the lobby because it was freezing outside. There was nobody that worked there to be found. We had no idea what was happening or if we were in a true emergency. Apparently it was a pipe burst out water problem. I still don’t know. What I do know is that I could not sleep that night. I usually can’t get back to sleep if I wake up in the night. I had about 2 hours of sleep and had a migraine the whole next day. We should have made it to our destination that day but because the lack of sleep, we needed to stop and get another hotel. I was really not feeling well.
