We were on a trip to pick up our new puppy and stayed after an exhausting 13 hours on the road. We checked in and collapsed in a comfy and clean room. We awoke to a great continental breakfast. We would stay here again.
The room had all that we needed: very clean, great pillows & good water pressure in the shower. I was concerned it would be noisy since it is close to the road & interstate, but it wasn't. Would stay here again.
This room was one of the cleanest and most comfortable I have stayed in. The shower was awesome too. It's right next door to an awesome bar/eatery that has a good beer selection and good burgers. It's one block from all the shops on the Historic Lewisburg strip. We stayed two days and met many fine ...
The wallpaper, paint and carpet all need updating and maintenance. It is a beautiful property but has seen better days. For the price and status, it does not deliver. The dinner at the Main Dining Room was slow and nothing to write home about. The staff are loyal and pleasant but not well trained. ...
The room and hotel work for last minute lodging. The hotel could use some updates. Rooms were small but work in a pinch.
We had such a nice room with adjourning large bath area. Very comfortable bed. We loved the idea of a big basket of fresh fruit & pastries brought to our room for breakfast. What a nice touch! We ate in the adjacent restaurant and were underwhelmed however. The food was okay, but for the price I thought it could have tasted better. I had the trout on a bed of such weird things - Anazazi beans, barley, onions, a pickled carrot, watercress and a piece of raw cauliflower. I would have enjoyed something a little more normal! By the way watercress grows in a lot of streams up there so it's free along with being bitter!
We stayed in 7 hotels during our 9 day road trip (all similar price/rating), but this was the worst. Not clean. Smelled musty. And had an insect problem.
It was very nice. The staff was extremely friendly, everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping to the lady who prepared breakfast.
