Pleasant check-in - my wishes were granted of the highest floor away from the elevator. Brittany was pleasant and accommodating as were Susan and Laura during my long term stay from Oct to late November 2017. Spacious Suite in the front side of the building. Nice breakfast included daily with alternating options. Hot cookies in the lobby around tea time of 4PM Mon to Thu. Nice stay here in the mountain rage of WV with a Walmart and a Ruby Tuesday's, Shoney's as well as a Subway sandwich shop all within walking distance. Great staff and I definitely recommend this property.
Stayed here while attending the Jeep Jamboree. Very nice property. Well maintained and clean. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Mint fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in room. They do have a free breakfast and it is not bad but not real good either. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if needed.
All we are left with is questions. Took months of phone calls to finally get a contract, then day of arrival were told there was a paper mill re work group in hotel who had not finished work and could not be moved out (a different story was told to someone else who tried to book there, and the hotel looked virtually empty which made us wonder if there was a deeper problem they did not want to let the public know about ), so we would be transferred to two other properties they owned, a Hampton next door and a Quality Inn across lot. Hampton was ok, but not as good as some. Quality Inn was terrible, odor in rooms, rust in bath, out door entrances, restaurant inside with pool tables. Some of us were moved out of the no quality, Quality Inn to a nearby bed and breakfast, but still had to pay part of the cost of our rooms, despite the problems they had caused us. I would find it hard to recommend any of these 3 hotels based on our experience.
Convenient location off the interstate, and were very please at the cleanliness of this Fairfield. We usually stay at Marriott properties and this one exceeded our expectations - clean, up to date, comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient...it was fairly late when we arrived and we were in our room in no time.
When you walk into the Fairfield Inn, you really walk into a nice hotel lobby. It's obvious this place is new and we found a large and comfortable room with soft beds and a nice hot shower. Also, the hot breakfast was good. They even had fresh fruit. The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is because teens in swimsuits were running around the breakfast room all wet and dripping water and none of the staff said anything about it, nor did they mop the floor. I assumed shirts and shoes should be worn at all times in a place like this. But apparently you can be as trashy as you want here. I bet the Hampton Inn next door would have send these kids back to their rooms.
It's a fine place, just what I would expect from a Marriott property. The only complaint I had was the whirlpool jets were not working right. EVERYthing else was fine.....well, maybe the breakfast offerings could have been better, but they were the standard fare.
What a charming hotel! Clean, bright, modern - and right by highway. Often the lobby area of hotels is beautiful while the rooms and upstairs halls are "tired." Not the case here - the rooms were just as nice. Shower was super clean, towels soft, beds comfortable. Good lighting and what a nice surprise to have been upgraded to a room with a living area! Conveniently located to the Greenbrier (where my husband had a meeting) - and far less expensive. Lewisburg is a charming town to walk through; I always love seeing historic architecture and local shops vs "big box" stores. Would absolutely stay here again!
I recently stayed at the Lewisburg, West Va Fairfield Inn and Suites on a business trip. The experience was nothing short of perfection. I don't usually gush over hotels in which I stay, but this is the exception. The check-in was so easy and efficient. There were 15 of us on the trip. The room keys and names were already in their little folders when we arrived and it took us about 2 minutes from entering the hotel until we got to the room, except for some, who opted for the complimentary coffee off the lobby. Other hotels take note-if you want to know how to check your guests in, call Lewisburg Fairfield Inn and you will learn a lot. The front desk staff was cordial and helpful with suggestions for visitors and plenty of maps and brochures. The public rooms and halls are brightly decorated-everything is fresh and cheery, as if someone actually took some time to choose carpet patterns rather than take some stock, industrial design. The guest rooms were just great. Plenty of light, nice temperature controls, refrigerator, ,icrowave, large flat-screen LG tv. Beds were comfy, with plenty of pillows. Nightstand has convenient outlets for charging your devices. Room has good-size closet, dresser, desk, easy chair. Very relaxing. Housekeeping service was excellent. Bathroom was very modern, spacious, nice shower, PaulMitchell toiletries. Excellent is every way. Complimentary breakfast was insane, I just paid around $25 for a similar breakfast buffet in Las Vegas. The Fairfield has waffles with cherry, strawberry or pineapple compote, all manner of pastries, bagels, cinnamon coffee cake, breads, hard boiled eggs, cheese omelets, fresh fruit medley, cantaloupe, make your own granola with plenty of walnuts, almonds, pecans. Lots of cereal, milk, coffee, juices. Never have I seen a free breakfast buffet as bountiful as this one. The breakfast room is spacious with plenty of tables and the TV isn't blaring incessantly so you can enjoy your conversation or solitude. Just super!! Did I mention the indoor pool, about 20 feet long but even better was the hot tub with good whirlpool jets, which greatly helped my back strain. Pool and spa open 6 am until 10 pm and nice exercise room, with plenty of benches, free weights, elliptical and treadmill is open 24-hours. A nice touch is the pool and exercise room are directly opposite the elevators, so you don't have to traipse through the lobby half dripping to get to your room. An unusual nice touch, which I had never considered--if the elevator off the lobby is on the first floor the door is always open, so you just walk in rather than have to press the button and wait for the elevator. Just something that someone in charge thought would be a good idea. A small thing, but thoughtful. I've been fortunate that I've been able to stay in some wonderful hotels in the U.S. and around the world, from the Inn at Little Washington, to the Grovnor in London to great places in Vienna, Paris, and Hong Kong. Most of those hotels have grand lobbies with lots of marble, glass and chandeliers. But if you want someplace in Lewisburg, West Va that is every bit equal in service, comfort, friendliness, and hospitality, the Fairfield Inn and Suites is the place to stay.
Spent one night at this hotel while traveling to the coast. Room was nicely decorated and bed was comfortable. The price was nice compared to the others in the area. The only suggestion I would have is to raise the t.v. a bit higher to see better while laying down in bed.
Great hotel staff were friendly and well mannered . I stayed there for a number of weeks with work . The staff was always friendly and eager to ensure our stay was good . The breakfast was one of the best continental which I wouldn't call the breakfast a continental it was so much better than that ....the choices for breakfast meal were so different....u could have about anything you want...We had a great stay ..... Will stay there again
