I have stayed in Super 8 all over North America, I would say 30-40 times, I travel a lot on my Motorcycle and it’s usually convenient We were on way To Phoenix and Lethbridge was our 1/2 day travel stop Computers were down and clerk said couldn’t book us in unless we paid cash. No big deal we were ready to pay we were then advised we would have to pay the $500 security deposit in cash also. She was on phone with Manager I can only assume grading our Characters, as we didn’t have 500 cash, I wouldn’t have given it to a young clerk regardless. Clerk suggested we try Econolodge next door, so we did. We also never stayed at another super 8 the whole remainder of our 2 week bike trip. 8 of us are heading for another 2 week bike trip in the summer, we’ll see how we fair and where we will stay.
Looks to be an older place but well maintained . Pool and hot tub were closed for renovations , so can not comment on that . Overall a nice economy hotel centrally located .
We were soooo pleased with the amenities of this hotel. An extra large room with super comfy beds and three (yes three) comfortable pillows. The breakfast was adequate with longer hours than most... 7am to 10am. We won't have to look any further than Super 8 if we're ever in Lethbridge again. Fantastic stay!
Very disappointed with my stay at the Super 8. The room was very very dirty. All around the circumference of the room there was dirt and garbage that had not been vacuumed. The deodorizer used in the room was so strong that we had to keep our coats on and leave the window open for hours. Even after this both my daughter and I sneezed all night. I was able to get my second night at the sandman for the same price and the room was 100x better. I understand that this is an older building and rooms, but there is no excuse for dirty.
I got my window smashed and and robbed and the cameras don’t cover all the parking stails. And just my luck the cameras don’t cover the one stall that I was parked in
Front end staff professional enough; room basic, was unable to adjust temperature in room. Roasted! Swimming still out of order, was unavailable in Nov 2017 as well
floor we stayed on had a lot of loud music playing, bathroom was not clean bathtub look like it had not been cleaned in awhile the bathroom floor had a lot of grime on the baseboards and corners of the tile built up grime as well, the coffee was not top up or extra cups replaced the beds are rock hard but over all the room was clean the front desk girl was awesome friendly.
Had a room booked here, i go to check in and found out that the pool and the hot tub were closed. I then informed the front desk that the pool was the main reason i booked a room and i also told them that i was not told on the phone when i booked the room about the pool and hot tub being closed. The front desk staff were kind enough at least to let me cancel my stay without being charged a cancellation fee. The staff need to inform people when booking a room about these sorts of things.i am very upset that the staff didnt bother to tell us this on the phone.i wont be booking a room here in the future.
Room was clean and the customer service was good. This room did not reflect the rate! The room was outstanding in comparison to the rate! The complementary breakfast was not stellar but that is not a feature that determines where I stay. I would stay here again and will definitely look for other Wyndham properties in future travels.
Stayed here on Feb 28, 2018. Looked a little sketchy from outside, but got nice quiet room on 2nd floor. Fairly clean, very comfortable beds, nice new towels. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient.
