Don't stay at this hotel. I was kept up all night by drunks in the hallway and by the tv and snoring of the guy in the next room. The doors and walls are paper thin. It was so loud the guy in the next room might as well have been in bed with me.

Was pleasantly surprised with all aspects of The Colonial. Large room, excellent fitness facility, nice outdoor surroundings and The Grille is a great place to eat and hang out. This was a great find!

I stay at the colonial at least once a month. The food is good, The room is nice and clean. I would stay here again.

We had not stayed here for several years. Found the front desk staff more friendly and helpful than previously experienced. Reorganized dining room much of an improvement, food very good , and service delightful. As we have family in the area, we used to stay at the Colonial frequently but the management and staff became less welcoming and helpful and were much more focused on their weddings and other events then on the individual traveler so we decided to find an alternative. Pleasant surprise. We will try again soon.

5 stars is something I do not think I have ever done before. This hotel is a gem! The lobby is remodeled and classically furnished. The rooms are remodeled and very comfortable. Lots of plugs which is always a plus. As all the reviews state the food in the restaurant is great. The choice is vast. I had the Mediterranean chicken, amazing. My wife had the asparagus salad which she said was the best she has ever had. My son had the ceaser wrap also great. The gym is also top rate. It's clean and has over 5 machines. There are also free weights,2 tabs, a stereo and a weight machine. There also is an indoor pool and jacuzzi! The only thing I could suggest would be more 'adult' cereals and possibly yogurt for breakfast. You can't go wrong here. It's truly an excellent hotel and value.

Place needs more lights at the Main entrance to the property. A group of us go often and All of pass the entrance at night. All the time The Place is beautiful and the new furniture in the rooms are nice. New beds are comfortable. The restaurant is great.

Very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly The entrance to the property can be easily miss because it is dark. Can use more lighting at the entrance to the property.

Was there for a wedding. Great place for wedding reception, food was great. Room was ok, bed wasn't very comfy.

Great room for wedding reservation. Hotel used as wedding venue, perfect to not have to drive.

Nice pool and jucczi. Beautiful exercise area, comfortable room and food was very good in the on permission restaurant.

It was just about perfect. Kids had fun from the morning to night. Loved the pool and restaurant. The only part that was bad was a pizza ordered at night before the restaurant closed was so over cooked it was hard to eat and we (kids and I) had no choice but to eat it. No I did not complain, cause over all I had a great time with my family there and wasn't in the mood to get grumpy over a pizza!

Very nice, up to date , clean facility. Friendly staff

No complaints here! Staff are friendly and helpful, room was clean, the restaurant quite good. Only "problem" was that the weekday breakfast buffet was a little limited. But the food they had was good. Overall a pleasant stay.

Our group came from all points in the country. The hotel was great, we all had the complementary breakfast before setting out for the day. We had our last evening dinner there with 18 people in attendance. The staff was great and the for very good

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. Although the hotel is located a distance away from Boston, it was a wonderful experience staying here. Upon arrival, the hotel is very impressive. Very long and big. Parking is free (rare these days!) Staff is welcoming and accomadations are cozy. Nice indoor pool and great restaurant on the premises. I most definitely want to return here as soon as possible. Just know that there isn't much in that area, very residential but well worth the stay for the price!

Very pleased with the outcome of my stay at the Colonial. Hotel staff Michael most courteous in rixing an error created by third party reservation site. Staff were accomodating on many levels to meet the needs of handicapped traveler. Will stay again on future visits. allan E. Dupuis

Hey, you are staying in Gardner, MA. What did you expect?

The hotel's lounge/restaraunt was fanstatic. Quality food at very reasonable prices. The waitstaff were awesome.

I grew up in Gardner so the Colonial Hotel is the perfect location for us to lodge during visits. Rather than just a place to sleep, it's a bonus for us that the hotel is a very nice place to stay with great pool and workout area. Restaurant is good but a bit pricey. Would love to see breakfast deal as part of the stay rate--or least a complimentary continental breakfast with coffee. Otherwise, the whole family is a fan of staying here--which we have multiple times.

I chose this hotel as it was close to Mt. Wachusset so my family could ski for 2 nights. Everything was fine at the hotel but the rooms were a bit small and the swimming pool was not very large. However, they have a nice gym and sauna so that was very relaxing. We didn't eat at the hotel except for breakfast which was just fine.
