Beautiful home, large clean rooms, very pleasant staff, excellent made to order breakfast. Wonderful ealk along the river toad. Counted 14 swans, a blue heron, and many other water fowl.

Love this very unique 1980’s style “castle/mansion”! Had the best room which was huge and had a great view! Breakfast was extra but very tasty with lots of options. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Had a great time!

While the woman who greeted us was very nice as well as the people serving breakfast were very attentive, there are a few things that were disappointing. First there isn’t really a view of the river at all, well a small glimpse through overgrown tall trees. additionally, there is a small refrigerator in the “lobby” where there is pepsi, diet gingerly, regular gingerly, water, and ices, all for an honor system payment of $1 for water and $2 for cans of soda. i was expecting more of a variety, maybe that is on me. the room was fine. the landscaping was nice. the facility is locked up after hours with a code you are given for the front door which is also nice. Breakfast has an assortment but they were over attentive constantly asking if we wanted eggs or pancakes. probably trying to be helpful. but we were trying to converse. i thought it was closer to the town than it was, so we simply used the location for sleeping. it was very quiet and a peaceful walk down along the rlower road aligning the river.

I wanted to change my stay from two days to one day, because of family reasons. The owners would not agree to forego charging me for the second evening. I stayed one night and paid for two nights. Expensive. I guess money is more important to them than customer satisfaction. I will not return to this facility and I would not recommend it.
