After coming back from Village life on the Yasawa’s earlier than expected Nila was a great find. We initially visited the well known ‘First Landing Resort’ but was turned off by the smell of artificial cleaning products and the noisy bar. Walking next door to Nila we immediately felt that this is a place we could relax and unwind. The villas are private and peaceful and decked out with comfortable bedding and temperature control- things that are especially valued after staying with a family on the islands! In contrast to First Landing, meals and drinks are reasonably priced. We chose an Indian meal for dinner and it was one of the best we had tasted. Meals are served on a wide veranda with views to the ocean. Breakfast was included and cooked to perfection.

Our third visit to this idyllic resort and it only gets better, my son is disabled and this time we were greeted with a ramp to our room and one to the restaurant, what a relief no more assisting my son into the room or the restaurant, it gave him great confidence to be able to get around with his walker all by himself, I am yet to find a place that accommodates both the aged and the disabled whether it be overseas or in Australia, how can you enjoy yourself when you are at the beck and call of someone who deserves to have a great holiday but needs constant assistance, the rooms are huge so no bumping into furniture or people, shower recess perfect for whatever your health condition may be, next time I am going to try the jacuzzi - Nila Beach is that place, our room was spotless thanks to the new girl, as I have said before there are not enough adjectives to describe this resort - I wonder what next year will bring. Thank you to the Owner for his kindness and compassion.

A very relaxing budget orientated resort. The pool was clean and open for swimming 24hrs. The restaurant was 10/10 for food quality, mostly Indian cuisine however western foods were available. The staff were friendly and the rooms were very modern. The bed was extremely comfortable. It will cost approximately $30 Fjd to taxi to Nandi or $40 to Lakota. If you’re looking for a friendly very quiet getaway that is still not so far away that you can do some tours or shopping I recommend this resort. We stayed for & days over Christmas 2018. We stayed for 8 nights in Nila Beach Resort during our trip to Fiji. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms are really comfortable and big. There is even Whirlpool in every room, besides of shower. The best of all was the food in the restaurant. We ate various meals, and they were all tasteful and delicious. We recommend especially indian and Chinese meals. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. The pool area is in progress. There will also be water sports in the future. We can warmly recommend this peaceful hotel for everyone!

Always a Pleasant experience to dine at The Restaurant. Food is delicious and service is quite good. After a meal you can always take a walk out towards the private beach. Lush garden, pool and beach surroundings with plenty and ample parking space.

a lovely place by the sea. We usually come with a couple of friends a few times be it for lunch or dinner. They got good food, good service and friendly staff. I highly recommend the place if you like real Indian food. The fried okra is an excellent starter.

We enjoyed our stay here but it wasn't quite what we hoped. The rooms were massive, very impressive spa and the Indian dinner in the restaurant was delicious. However as other people have mentioned, the pool had no shade, the sun loungers were half broken or the the material ripping on them. No one cleaned our room the entire 4 days we were there. We also didn't realise how remote it was. You really need a car as we ended up spending a lot on taxis. It was so quiet that there wasn't any atmosphere but this might suit some people.

We've only been here once for dinner but it was lovely. The Indian food was excellent, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, and the service great. Some reviews mention the time taken to prepare meals but I think you should expect that for freshly prepared food.

Did not think Nila Beach Resort could not get any better but only 4 months elapsed since my last visit and the Island has been added. It was being finished off whilst I was there and there was no interference to any guests, it looks amazing and cannot wait until it is utilised. I tried Indian food whilst I was there and now am a convert, all those years of denying myself the flavours of Indian food. There are still not enough adjectives to describe this idyllic place, it ticks all the boxes, the owner is on hand to ensure all guests are treated properly and his door is always open not like other places where you never get to see the owner until you leave - he is a very personable person, I wish owners of other resorts could take a leaf out of his book but that is their loss. Cannot wait until my return with my son next year, what a relief no more browsing through catalogues or travel agents to find some where to stay, I have found it and will continue to enjoy my paradise.

New resort development, very expensive, rooms are elegant but the shiny tiled floors are not a very good choice, slippery when wet!! Lovely big rooms, comfortable bed but the TV was unwatchable, power points were behind the desks, fridge in a cupboard and the spa bath plug wouldn’t open and had a very nasty scum ring around it. The man made lagoon was impressive and the restaurant did the best butter chicken I have ever eaten. Complentary cooked breakfast was a bonus.
