Palms Place Hotel and Spa at the Palms Las Vegas

Tried to cx as soon as I realized I booked the wrong date. Then asked for credit towards the correct night and wouldn’t do. Was looking forward to my first stay here too.

This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. First, the valet would not let us use his cart which is fine but then he didn't have the courtesy of telling us to bring our car around so that he could assist us. Secondly, I paid for a suite. typically on the strip suites are two separate rooms. Not at Palms Place, this was just a regular sized room, with a fold-out bed instead of another bed. Further they had two tvs placed side by side on the same wall, redundant and stupid. Finally, there is a lot of glass and glossy surfaces in the room which is fine but the problem is that the room staff had failed to clean to the level necessary to ensure that smudge marks weren't visible. Additionally, a previous occupants hair was on full display in the shower stall. Lastly the hotel advertises free wifi, uh...no. you have to pay $4.95 for SLOW service and $14.95 for regular (non-throttled) speeds.

Will always stay at the palms when I visit Vegas !!!

The only thing that I didn’t like and didn’t make sense was the locked balcony door. I even offered to pay extra to unlock but because I didn’t rent from the owner I couldn’t have it unlocked (?) Go figure.

I stay in suites in all the hotels and the 1 bedroom is a great value. 1200 sq ft, modern, kitchen, jacuzzi, strip view, fireplace, washer dryer and under $200 even after tax and resort fee. You will not find many suites this size and nice for under 200/night.

Everything was okay until my phone was stolen 10 minutes of being there. I did valet and used bell hop. Within minutes of checking in, from my car to the front desk, my phone had disappeared. Mind you, I used it to navigate to the hotel the whole time. I even had the bell man call it to make sure I wasn’t overlooking it within my stuff and still nothing. I told management but the said to go to security which wasn’t much help. If that hadn’t happened the hotel would’ve got s better rating. Also remotes for both tvs were not working.

Overall, I loved The Place at The Palms. However, I was not prepared to be so far away from the strip, having to spend lots of money on taxis to go back and forth to the convention center and Las Vegas amenities. Also, one should be prepared that breakfast (room service only available ) does not open until 7:30 am, with a 30-45 minute wait for delivery. Room service items are delivered in to go boxes with plastic silverware, not dishes and silverware. Great staff, except bellman....not helpful and bad attitude.

This is my 4th time and every time has been about the same. The gym is awesome - I love the free parking and the ability to have a mini kitchen. If you call for something no one will pick up. Best to go to the front desk and ask for everything in person!

Great place, clean, quit, walking distance to Starbucks, hoohka lounge, etc. Loved the pool and happy hour, to relax this is the place.

I’ve stayed here before however this stay was horrible. When we got to our room, we discovered that one of the TVs didn’t work. We called someone to come fix it, they never came. The refrigerator had old food it. The knob yo turn off the cold water in the bathroom came off, no one ever came to fix that either. I’ll never stay there again

barroom lighting was very bad. Room was dark needs better lighting.

Nice pool and fitness center. Great to have a small kitchen in the room

Great hotel experience excellent price great service close to all attractions for my needs during my stay will return.

I really enjoyed my stay. We got upgraded to a suite because the hotel sold out. I highly recommend a suite if you can swing it. We stayed at the Palms Place which is more like a condo style room. I was on the 21st floor and the view was amazing. the room a a lil dark though even with all the lights on, but it was perfect for entertaining.

Everybody at the hotel was pretty helpful and nice except for staff at the 6th floor pool, they were SUPER sassy AND rude THEY ALSO THINK they are "movie stars" i dint get the names but they are 1 blondy and the other one dark hair with tatoos bar tenders (2 men). How can somebody working with public can be so nasty?

This room looks amazing online, however, in person is another story. I checked out because it wasn't my standard of living. It felt more like a scummy pimp house. In my oppinion they need to focus more on cleanliness.

We were checked into a room that was not clean. There was stuff all over the walls, cabinets were falling apart, it smelled like smoke in a non smoking room, the windows had a film on them, and worst of all there was a white milky substance on the headboard of the bed. It was absolutely disgusting! When we went to the front desk to ask for a different room, the employee behind the counter said, "This stuff happens all the time." If you are paying for a luxury hotel room, these kind of issues should not "happen all the time". He did give us another room with out charge. It was a lot cleaner, but the room still looked like it was in rough condition. We ended up leaving on the 4th day of our week vacation because it just was not what we hoped for. I will say the staff was very pleasant.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfy. The pool was "closed" on Friday when we checked in only to later find out there was a "private event" taking place. Room service was delivered in to-go containers and dropped off in bags! In 43 years I've never had pancakes served in a box with plastic utensils so I guess there's a first time for everything!!

Staff wasn't the friendliest and there was food crumbs on the floor and soap scum in the bathtub. I did think it was a beautiful room though.

It was a nice size room with a great view of the strip.
