The location is fine. The room very basic, the room smelled of cigarette smoke and the fixtures were in poor condition for example the lamps and switches. The plumbing was noisy all night so not the best nights sleep. However the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was working albeit noisy next to the bed.

When i arrived the young boy on the desk made me aware that Expedia hadn't paid the property, but instead of valuing my custom and helping me solve the issue (my booking was 10 days) he chose to put me in the street. I resolved this issue by having to rebook, no thanks to the incompetence of Expedia and the motel. This location has a lovely pool area which is only available to enter with a room key.. but every afternoon I'd watch staff members sit smoking in the area and flagrantly open the door to allow groups of homeless and stray people in the area to infest the area. The pattern was, 3 or 4 scrawny desperately unhealthy individuals would congregate around the pool area, none of which were customers of the hotel. They would then be joined by 2 or 3 younger black men who I witnessed handing out small packages and fussing over these sad individuals who'd spend the next 30 minutes going in and out of the bathrooms located in that area. Staff were watching this and enabling it.. I don't pay to have homeless drug addicts and lowlife drug dealers Share the lively amenities that I've paid the motel for. This a 101 of how NOT to run a Motel.

No pool for now...

Very loud neighbors on both sides, but that's not the motel's fault. They weren't loud enough to really bother me but I was aware of them. It's worth it considering the price and location of this property. I'd like to know when the pool will be repaired!

So studio 6 in las vegas nv is conviently locted at 165 e tropicana MOTEL 6 is 195 e tropicana mad it extremely confusing and wasted like 2 hours travel time going back and forth just beyond MOTEL 6 to MOTEL 6 just off tropicana on other side of strip STUDIO 6 is so close u assume there sign is part of the MOTEL 6 and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE MADE THIS CLEAR. I went from A to C back to A just to get to B it two hours we were tired and all agree it shoukd be fixed theyvare right next door to eachother one needs to be a diff number.

Good Budget-Friendly Option

I am not one to write reviews online, but I was pleasantly surprised by Motel 6 as a budget-friendly option for a Vegas stay. The rooms have been remodeled and now feel much cleaner and more comfortable. There’s no carpet anymore, which made the space feel fresher, and we even had a brand-new tub! My only suggestions: the shower curtain doesn’t have a liner, so it gets dirty quickly after a few uses. Also, our room didn’t have a wastebasket, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, I think Motel 6 has improved a lot, and I’d definitely consider staying again.
