Very nice hotel, convenient to St Rose hospital, walking distance to Remedy Tavern. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. The downside is that it had “toddler” toilets, so low that it was difficult for seniors to use.

We were pretty bummed about our stay here after staying at another Hilton property at the beginning of our trip (Home2Suites).The front staff was not warm. I thought it was bc it was late at night, but the morning staff at the front desk was even less warm. We had dogs, so they put us in a room that was convenient to get outside. We were excited bc it was a bigger room than we booked. We also felt that it was super considerate they placed near an exit for the dogs. When we arrived in the room, there was an immediate smell of musk. I feel that it was maybe a urine smell from prior dogs. Our dogs were smelling around an area on the floor a lot. This location had such a high rating, but maybe this room was just a one off. Maybe they just need to do a heavy duty carpet cleaning. We have never been steered wrong by hotel.com ratings before. It was a disappointment after having such an amazing stay at the other Hilton property.

Because our 2 queen bed room was not ready when we arrived at 3 pm, they upgraded us to a suite with a king bed. It was very comfortable. The place is dated but clean and quiet. We look forward to staying here again whenever we drive to California from Western Colorado.

Staff as always was excellent. Appreciated the daily maid service. Breakfast is good; large variety, good quality, fast. Very clean, staff was attentive. Hotel is starting to show its age but well maintained. The bathroom sinks never drain properly, must be poor design. They did change the heating and a/c system; it’s a little noisy but the room stays at the temperature you set it at. I have stayed there about 12 nights a year since it first opened. Our son lives nearby so it’s very convenient.
