Radisson Hotel Lansing

This hotel is in desperate need of renovations. Furnishings and decor are dated and worn.

Expedia misleads through site ordering... requested double bed room, only to receive a king room and sold out others. Housekeeping "missed" a pair of boxer shorts in the bathroom of previous guest. Poor customer service.

The room was nice, clean, comfortable, however, it had a sink drain problem. I arrived later in the day, checked in, went to my room freshened up and left for my meeting in the Lansing Center. The meeting ran late and I did not return to my room until after midnight. Upon washing up I found that the sink would drain very slowly and then I felt water at my feet. The drain elbow was leaking and draining on the floor. The hour was late so I put a trash can under the leak and reported it in the morning upon check out. Hopefully they took care of the problem. All in all everyone was very courteous and helpful and I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Lansing for two nights to visit our daughter who is at MSU. Overall the experience was good.

We were very impressed that such a nice hotel and comfortable room was available at such a good price. The warmth and professionalism of the front desk staff was top-notch and they were very helpful with excellent restaurant recommendations.

Clean room, good location, near MSU I was knowing the campus facilities and graduate schools

The trip was fun! We loved staying downtown and everything was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Visited Lansing for special family venue that included an afterglow gathering at The Exchange (a bar with live entertainment a half a block away). Location to Exchange was reason we picked this hotel. Note that there are a lot of one ways around this hotel and travel can be confusing. You will need to use valet for your vehicle (they were prompt). Not a great part of town for children, but there were some on our 10th floor running around the halls at 3AM. Hotel is very clean, but getting older. Our room had a sleep number bed, so you were as comfortable as you wanted. Slight bathroom toilet running issue and caulking around tub needed some work, but all was clean and fresh towels. Wanted to watch Tiger baseball game, but not enough channels available in room. Had to go down to the Grill to watch the game.

beautiful views and perfect location for business or pleasure in downtown lansing. we went to the bluesfest in oldtown and just walked there on the river trail

When I arrived, my assigned room was not cleaned. I had to call down and inform the desk. The desk changed my room and indicated some sort of amends for the mistate. I received nothing during my stay. The only saving grace for this hotel is its location.

City Fun! Great Location and close to all you desire from downtown Lansing.

We chose to stay my Capitol after the MSU vs. Wisconsin game. We called about late arrival and got there around 7 pm. Our rooms were right next to one another as requested. We walked in and there were 2 empty Gatorade bottles in the middle of the floor. We called downstairs. They apologized and asked if wanted to switch rooms. We were exhausted and declined. We laid on the bed and tried the sleep number bed. It did not work. One bed was trying to inflate for you could hear the running of the inflation device, but no number would read on the monitor. We went to other bed. It would inflate, but no reading on the handset. We called again. At this time, our friends beds did not work properly, either. We all received 2 drink tickets for bar and a complimentary weekend breakfast bar. We showered, changed and went to bar. There were over 40 people holding the same drink cards and only one bartender acting as bartender, waitress, and cashier. Management eventually came and helped her out. We did not claim our 2nd ticket. The staff at the desk was awesome, but did not make up for the maintenance man that would fix beds the next morning (yeah, right) and the unclean room. [...]

Great location downtown for business and baseball game. Down fall was pool was being worked on so it was not availabe and businees center computers and printer did not work.

The dining was pricey

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, however this property needs an update as it is fairly rundown. Not what I have experienced at other Radisson hotels. [...]

We arrived very late and had a comfortable sleep.

Hotel was close to airport and the catwalk that takes you to the Lansing Center was very nice. The restaurant food was avg and a bit overpriced. Overall nice place to stay and would stay again.

Terry, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Our maintenance director did inform me that the issue was taken care of after you checked out so that nobody else would have the same experience. Cheers- Kevin R

I'm so happy to hear your encounters with the staff were excellent. I'm sorry that the parking situation was not ideal for you during your stay, but I'm happy the valet was convenient. We have a great relationship with MSU and hope you'll return when you come to visit. Cheers! KevinR .
