Room was a disgrace. Demanded to move and they had the nerve to charge an upgrade. Room up charge was $20 per night. Comped.us one free breakfast with a $10 value. Big Deal!! First and last time staying there.
we like to watch the hot air balloons go up across the street. you can watch the Amish buggies go by. bakery and coffee shop across the street.farmers market and gift shops next door. A big fish pond. I could go on,. Its clean, and we slept very peacefully!
We visited there as an extended family of 16. It was the perfect environment for all age groups to find things to do. Miniature golf, 3 swimming pools, animals to feed, walking trails, Amish tours, etc. The rooms were very nice. Just a lovely area.
They never told us about thebus ride the next day. No numbers for the front desk or the restaurant. Heard the people next door when they were showering never will go back there again. . I
Fantastic and very nice the pool was great and convejnent to everything
We recently discovered this hotel, and have been back four times since. Rooms are clean and nice. TWO indoor pools and one outdoor. Restaurant with great food and daily buffets right on the premises. Tennis courts, arcade, fitness center, mini-golf, petting zoo, playground. We love it, and will always stay here when we're visiting Lancaster.
They had a free 2 hr tour about the Amish which was wonderful.
Pros: - Staff were courteous and professional and gave us great information about the area. - Appreciated the coupon for the excellent mini-golf course on the property! - Free pumpkin bread was a tasty and kind gesture. - Attached petting zoo, playground, tennis/basketball courts are nice amenities. - It's great that they offer two indoor pools and a spa, which were large in size. Cons: - Indoor pool was cold (we heard others commenting on this also). Pool deck and bottom of hot tub had lots of little gravel breaking free onto my feet. - No free breakfast included. On a Sunday morning this is hard because the affiliated restaurant and bakery are closed on Sunday along with almost everything else in town! - The shower ran out of hot water really quickly after my husband had only a very short shower. - Bed was springy and uncomfortable. Pillows were cheap feeling and unsupportive. (I don't think we're picky--my husband and I slept on a full-size mattress that was 19 years old until this year.) - Tabletop ironing board was very difficult to work with, and the iron itself had peeling flakes of a metal coating that came off onto my clothes. - Scenic tour of Amish farmland is only offered.on Saturday morning and we arrived in the afternoon. It's not offered on Sunday, which makes sense with the Amish culture. But you essentially have to spend Friday night in town to make the tour. Expected more for the price, to have a decent sleeping and showering experience at the very least
nice room very convenient would definately stay there again
the hotel was ok. the room could need some updates
Food excellent restaurant very good Room was clean but there was no toothpaste. And it was very cold in the night. Even after the ac was turned off There was only a thin blanket and sheet
