We Visit Lake Tahoe once a year for a weekend family getaway. First time booking this particular Hotel. What I love is the location, right by the shopping center, Gondola and plenty of restaurants. Close walk to the arcades in the Casino. They do offer complimentary breakfast which has good options. My kids enjoyed the playroom and the ice cream social hour. Only reason I’m not rating a 5 star is the cleanliness was not the best. All staff was very friendly as well. One bed set had a huge yellow stain and bathroom and kitchen was dusty.

Staff not welcoming. Kind of rude. There were lots of unexpected charges. I prepaid on a credit card and was told I would owe $81 at checkin. Was told they needed to credit that card and recharge then charged for more money! Then they charged more for parking and other charges for total about $200 difference!!! Location is great. Room and area was good. First time stayed there and I wondered why there were courtesy earplugs and now I know because you could hear people walking upstairs and out in the hall including conversations anytime of day/night. I added late check out until 2pm but a staff still came knocking on door at 11ish which was the only thing annoying about my stay.

Great locations, great amenities, and provides breakfast. The only thing is that the walls are thin. Since we got a room in the bottome floor, we weren't able to sleep because of all the foot step noises. Its creaky as well.
