Was not given the correct room, then the room was dirty, mold on vents, carpet was torn and staples were visible, bugs, not enough breakfast for the amount of people, then was charged incorrectly (still waiting on refund).

The suite was large and had everything we needed, but the couch was ripped, the shower curtain too short, and the sink was only to drain very slowly. The place is enormous and don't take someone with limited mobility as the walk to a room is FAR. The breakfast was acceptable but did not have enough food for the number of people there!

Excellent Stay in Lake Jackson!!!

Jessica was amazing and super helpful with a great personality. Rooms were nice and really clean. To be clear this review is for the Courtyard by Marriott Lake Jackson. TownePlace Suites overbooked and could not keep my reservation but Hotels.com did an wonderful job of make the change and booking me a new upgraded hotel with no additional cost. Thank you Hotels.com

Dont bother wasting your time to make a resevation here. They cancelled us 2 hours before check in time and did not call us. They overbook do obviously someone is going to get there and not have a place to stay. BEWARE!

Building is old and carpet in hotel has an odor . Part of the hotel did not have AC in the main common hallway . Smoke detector and another room kept going off low battery couldn’t get much sleep. Being that this was a marriott my expectations were conditions of marriott hotel this seem to be a hotel converting into a Marriott . I personally feel do not put the label on the business until you are at marriott standards very misleading

When we got to the room the smoke detector would beep about every minute. I asked the front desk for some batteries for it and was told they didn’t have any. Had to listen to the beep all night. Did not get much sleep.

I booked 2 rooms for me and my cousin for a family vacation, everything was perfect until after check out and we went to have some breakfast since the complementary breakfast at the hotel is very bad, my cousin saw 2 more charges, after the regular reservation payment plus a cleaning fee. which is returned after check out. I called immediately to ask about this error and the response was because they needed to pick up some cans or trash from the pool. It's a cleaner rate. It is an abuse just to pick up some cans, I told them that I took care of my garbage but they said that other people who were close to us left garbage and that they were with us. This is incorrect is that the pool is very small, all the people are closer to each other and we cannot take care of other people. I am responsible only for my room and the people in my room, not the other people. I asked them if they had evidence, such as photos or videos, to prove that we left the trash. They said no, we just walked and picked them up, so I asked the other people if they did it and I told them who left the trash and they wouldn't charge me. How can we do that if we didn't know all the people who were at the pool, it‘s crazy, this is abuse and discrimination. I hope the charged amount after the other cleaning fee is returned as soon as possible.
