First trip to Geneva. Stayed at the Ambassador per the recommendation of a family member. Great place. Quiet and clean. The staff was very attentive. The hotel restaurant was closed, but who cares with sooooo many wonderful options available in the nearby old town. Would stay here again.
Wonderful location and friendly, helpful staff. Gave us a room when we arrived early. It was small but comfortable. Loved that they had black out blinds. We would stay there again without question. Housekeeping was not stellar. They forgot the second towel. We only had one bathrobe and they didnt change the sheets even though they got dirty. Obviously we could have asked if it had been a problem.
Excellent hotel. It is well located with numerous restaurants, bars, pharmacy, and public transportation. It is very walkable. The rooms are clean and front desk staff very friendly. I would highly recommend.

Just be sure to clarify whether or not your reservation includes breakfast. I thoughts ours did, only to discover that we were shelling out 50 swiss francs for a really lovely but not terribly unique breakfast. Starbucks across the street would have been fine. Very clean, quiet and charming hotel that is well located in Geneva for everything from the central train station, airport and old city. No complaints, really!
