We had a very nice 5 days at Crescent Bay Inn. The room was updated and had an ocean view & the carport parking was nice. Convenient access to the beach and Sal was very accommodating during our entire stay.

Location is amazing- ocean view is amazing too What I didn’t like was that the manager mentioned as I checked in that the ac was out and that they were waiting for the repair person and didn’t offer any discount for inconvenience and didn’t have another room available. He basically said, “you still want the room?”, like I had another option to go somewhere else in a busy Fourth of July weekend. We were there two nights and the ac was not taken care of, so my room was musty and hot. The fan helped but didn’t give us comfort. On our last day when we wake up to check out, there’s no electricity in the section of the bathroom. I didn’t call for help because we basically were leaving at 11am but I showered with my phone light and used the daylight from the window to get ready.
The location is good but is surrounded by construction and the walkway/path to the beach was closed off. The AC unit did not work and property/rooms were falling apart. The toilet paper holder was unhinged, door and drawers were falling apartz closet was tilting and everything was chipped or cracked. The sockets were pulled out. Carpet left our feet black. We contemplated just leaving early, it was so bad. We've stayed in the past and this was very disappointing.
The Crescent Bay Inn is a small property located on the Northside of Laguna Beach. The hotel is older, but my room was remodeled, clean and well appointed. This hotel is a five minute walk to the beach and a short trolley ride to downtown shops and restaurants. Parking is complimentary, which is a treat in this location. Hospitality is stressed by staff and they will ensure an enjoyable stay. This property does not have a pool or spa, but a huge beautiful pool (the Pacific Ocean) is a short walk away. The Crescent Bay Inn is an affordable option for the Laguna Beach area, close to the beach and downtown with a caring and friendly staff.

Sorry for the trouble. AC was slow so provided fan. Electricity needed reset had you called us was ez to prss the reset button Thanks SAL
