It was only a block to a beautiful park and the beach. The staff was very accommodating. We were street side so if you had the door or windows open the traffic was loud. All in all it was a really good place to stay.

We had a great stay at the Tides. We stayed in the plate room and our son keeps asking to come back. Staff was so friendly and welcoming, loved the hand written welcoming note, a few complimentary bottled waters, towels and toys to play with at the pool, and kitchen in our room with full fridge and stove. There was a little age to the property/furnishings but other than that (which not a big deal to us) everything else was perfect, and a great value for what we paid.

Pleasant tagf quaint ppace to stay. Little dated but will stay again...

Our room was on the street and very noisy. The sheets on one the beds had sand in them.

Nice little gem directly off Hwy 1. Really enjoyed the fire pit and the quaint atmosphere. Has that Laguna chill vibe that you’re looking for on road trip.

Nice place with small pool. Great location to everything. Staff nice, place clean and cute. No frills

The staff were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. Very clean, bright and dog friendly. People who are not dog fans may not enjoy their stay as much due to many dogs present.

Check in was pleasant. We arrived earlier than expected and no problems getting into our room early. Staff was extremely friendly. Went above and beyond to make sure it was a great experience! It's just across the street from the beach in a nice location and I will definitely stay here again!

The Tides is an older hotel but it has been and is well kept . That said the rooms are very clean and the beds in our room were comfortable, the linens good quality and exceptionally soft and fresh. Unlike some hotels, the housekeeping staff provides a good supply of towels each day, they do not skimp. The hotel is on Pacific Coast Highway and depending where your room is located, it can be noisy at night IF you are used to quiet. We will return because the staff seems to really care for their guests and someone was always available if we had a question. We were able to look at different rooms while there and because the Hotel is small, guests can book specific rooms. Some rooms seem to be upgraded, and they range from 1 large family room with 2 queen beds, sofa, and kitchenette, several smaller rooms, and rooms with either queen or king size beds (some w/ kitchenettes). All rooms are shown on their website. The pool area is just the right size for the complex, and there is a very nice outdoor fireplace and lots of seating for fun conversations at night. The beach, a park, and trails are all within walking distance, as most shopping & services such as a Grocery Store, banks, etc.

We loved The Tides Inn! It was very quaint and the location was excellent. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants as well as Heisler Park and the beach. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay at The Tides again!

Fine stay, very clean, nice poolside fireplace (no Jacuzzi), but seems they booked out more of a few specific room types than were available....I had to go around a bit with the office so that we were not stuck in a tiny corner room, with NO windows :-( I will say, it all worked out fine, but wasted a bit our of precious beach time.

Great location. Older hotel but great staff and great location. Suprisingly quiet also even though it was on PCH.

The staff greeted us warmly when we checked in. She was very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and the Festival of Arts venue. The free shuttle stop is very close to this hotel. Overall, it was a winderful stay. BTW - you cn borrow beach chairs, toys, umbrellas and towels if you want to spend a day in the beach. That was a pleasant surprise!!

Nice quite room. Quite comfy! Excellent staff. A pleasure!

Had a few issues, but overall nice. People very nice and helpful. Parking not good

This was our second stay at the Tides. The motel had just changed ownership, but the new owners were friendly and accommodating with quick responses to our needs or requests. We stayed on the second floor, which was nicer and quieter than our previous stay on the first floor. The room was in the back with a nice cottage decor and a fireplace with white, clean, and fresh towels and linens. We kept the windows open most of the time to allow the nice ocean breeze to circulate. The rooms can be noisy from the traffic and the other surrounding rooms, but the motel provides earplugs if you need them. There was an anteroom to the bathroom with a small closet and a refrigerator. We were very happy that we stayed here again within walking distance to the beach, eateries, and downtown. One chilly night we sat by outdoor fireplace in the pool area. There is also free parking, a heated salt water pool, beach towels, and beach chairs. This cute little motel is one of the best values in Laguna. We will be returning.

Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we think Heisler Park is one of the most beautiful and breathtaking beach areas as well. Should your travels bring you back to beautiful Laguna Beach we hope to see you again, but this time in a room farther back from Pacific Coast Highway :)
