The dog next door continued to bark hysterically!!! All night the doors slamming all night the neighbors baby crying all night! Super inconvenient

Clean rooms, friendly staff.

The location is good a few minutes from the beach. 15 min walk to the center of town. It is rather noisy because of the main road depending on where your room is. There is nothing artsy about the hotel though and the pool was closed because of COVID restrictions.

Park under the garage is very tight and not enough spaces for all of the guests cars. Highway 1 traffic is very noisy through early a.m.. the staff was excellent.

Nobody to let me check in after I made reservations

be careful when staying at this property. it is no longer the "art hotel" since the previous owner who sold the property (allegedly to the wyndham), took all the art with her as well as the charm and soul of the property along with it. the hotel seems to be in the middle of a remodel, with about half the furniture in the room from the old version of the hotel, but new beds and linens. the superior rooms no longer have sofas with pull out beds but instead have just an empty corner showcasing a bare floor! staff was unhelpful at best, and didn't even wear nametags. the man on duty the day we checked out actually refused to give me his name. we went in july during covid. the pool was closed (understandable) although not by order of the city. they also advertised a free breakfast that they then cancelled via email as we were on the way to the hotel. We were told at check in that if we didn't like it we could find another hotel to stay at (Is this the wyndham's idea of customer service?). this is a shocking fall for a hotel that has a great location and used to be charming w/ lots of local art unique to the area. for $200 we felt cheated. the only thing trademark about this hotel is horrendous customer service and a we don't care attitude. the wynham can and should do better.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and our room was very clean. I appreciated that there wasn't sand all over the floor, as there often is in beach hotels. The only thing that was frustrating was the lack of outlets for us to charge our devices. Granted, it is an older hotel, which needs to be kept in mind, we had to unplug lamps and other things that were in not easy to reach places. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our experience and will be back.

This is a motel building with hotel interior design. It was modern and clean. The service and friendliness were what I would expect at motels.

In the process of upgrading.....not there yet. Very basic motel needs improvements in technology ie electrical outlets though Wi-Fi is quite adequate.

They opened super late each morning so we couldn't even take advantage of the continental breakfast.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. No pictures or "Art" on the walls very drab room needs modern updating for example USB plugs for charging phones. We were told about a Continental Breakfast which upon questioning was Morning snacks. Granola bars fruit coffee tea and the pastries were tiny.

Staff Isis was very pleasant and professional.... made us feel welcome and helped with early checking. Clean room. Just noisy from the road but otherwise a great place.

The hotel was 90 minutes late to check us in. They checked in several other guests at 3pm, while making us wait until 4:30pm. No apologies provided. We stayed in Room 107, which was completely illuminated by the fluorescent bright lights in the hallway, all night long. It was impossible to sleep.

it was under construction/renovation (yes, mess and noise all weekend), not very accommodating and we were stuck in the back corner hallway, with NO view....even though we booked over 90 days ago.

An older, basic hotel, but great for about the lowest price in Laguna. Heather at the front desk was an absolute joy to deal with. Will definitely re-book in the future.

Convenient location easy parking very helpful staff.

Thank you for your input. We do notify our guest when booking that we have limited parking. I do apologize but most of the hotels in Laguna Beach are on Highway 1 and with this there will ne noise which we cannot control. I am glad the you were happy with the service we had to offer you at the hotel.

Thank you for your review. Please keep in mind we are looking in to updating our rooms. We have already remodeled our rooms with a balcony and outlets were a thing that we added. Due to Covid we did have to halt all work Nevertheless we are taking care of all the small concerns. Just recently we changed all of our pillows in the guest rooms.
