The property details state they have luggage storage. However, we get there and they strongly say that they do not. She refused to keep our things. And was not apologetic about it. Finally I demanded it as it was stated on their information on hotels.com. Reluctantly they put it in a “common area” and said we aren’t responsible for it. We had 5 hours before check in and had counted on that part of the trip. Also, air conditioner leaked, maid only put half of sheets in bed, there was a common coffee maker but they would not allow us to use it. The place looked in the middle of renovation as there were workers laying tile and working in the “terrace” area and we had to walk around and over all their equipment with luggage and bags. I would not stay here again :( Csnt believe hotels.com reported luggage storage when in fact the hotel did not provide it.

This place is very uneven and feels like it has seen better days. Though we had paid for an ocean view suite with a king bed, they showed us three different rooms with small beds and no view before they finally took us to the kind of room we had paid for. The towels are ancient and the hallway smelled bad, but it has a lovely terrace and the people were friendly (but this is Mexico where friendly is the norm). We'll try someplace else next time.

I wont be back

I needed a room at short notice, and the price fit my budget. The 2:00 check in was convenient. However, for some reason the person at the reception desk needed to call his boss before honoring my reservation. The room was clean, the shower was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Also, there was a nice view of the bay from the terrace. I had to ask several times for soap, the controls to the air conditioner and TV. At least I received the soap.

The second floor rooms have no outside ventilation so when the sewer smell came in via the ac I got panicky. They gave a new room which was better so I complained again and they put me on the third floor. The room would have been great except for the broken toilet seat and the fact that the toilet was improperly installed and rocked an inch back and forth. I never saw another guest while I was there so word must’ve gotten around. A creepy feeling indeed! The facility is unfinished with lovely murals and tile work but unconnected trim and other clear signs of money problems. The restaurant never opened , so no free breakfast and the price came in close to 140 us but showed around 100 on Expedia
