My wife and I have travelled to over 100 countries. For the money in a capital City this was the best value in the world. It may be up to 30 minutes from the Centre of the city by taxi depending upon traffic and time of day. However it is worth it. The staff are the most helpful and caring. Just a few blocks down the hill you can walk to the cable car Station which is the only way to travel throughout the city. It also has a pillow menus !! Please do not stay anywhere else. Safe area. Free buffet breakfast very good

I travel a lot, but I can easily say that my experience at Casa Grande Suites has been by far my best hotel experience. Staff is beyond friendly and helpful. They will go above and beyond to make your stay the best. It was my birthday during my stay and they surprised me with cake in my room! I just loved my experience there!

The hotel is located in a very safe and nice area, it's 30 mins drive from the downtown but it's worth of it. You can also try the cable car green line with only 10 mins walk. The young man in reception speaks perfect English (which is rare in Bolivia) and helps us efficiently. All staff are friendly and professional. I tried the swimming pool and it's not easy to swim in such a high altitude. FUN!

Comfortable, warm and spacious rooms. Pro staff and the surprise of a really good international restaurant. Walking distance to an area of restaurants and cafes. Rooms on the 8th or 9th floor are quieter. Wifi worked flawlessly throughout the hotel.

The suites are properly equipped, very modern and lovely decorated. The staff is so attentive that even if you have altitude sickness, they make you feel at home taking care of you as at home. Breakfast is very nice too.

The hotel it's located in a real nice area. Very classy hotel, nice layout of the rooms, and plenty space. The staff, what can I say about them; Daniel, Rodrigo, Carlos, Ivan, Mariela, Daisy and everyone in the Mezo restaurant were great. I was impress with the level of service we got my family and I. It was a great experience in La Paz Bolivia. I strongly recommended to anyone who is looking to stay in modern, deluxe Hotel with a outstanding staff. Thank you Casa Grande Suites.

They really make you feel at home at Casa Grande! Excellent hotel, staff, food, etc. We had a 2 bedroom suite with all the amenities and no details missed :) We will definitely be back to La Paz and to Casa Grande :)

I won't go into why we went to La Paz, but we did, and I'm so glad that we took a chance and stayed at CGS! I had communicated with them in advance to make sure that I was able to get exactly what I was looking for. The communications were not very smooth at first, but then when I wrote back a few weeks before our arrival Marcela assured me that everything would be perfect, and it was!!! The Hotel was remodeled very recently (may 206 I think) and everything was modern, shiny, new and designed beautifully! It is very upscale feeling on all levels including the service!! We had a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms, a kitchenette and a balcony. It fit our needs perfectly. The prearranged hotel driver picked us up at the airport at 5am and delivered us to hotel where we checked in and then had a decent breakfast. The breakfast Room is lovely. (Room service was excellent after placing a complicated order in Spanish, yet the food was not great.) The hotel is located in the Zona Rosa. Supposedly it is the nicest and one of the lowest parts of town in terms of elevation. We used the hotel drivers for tours and airport transfers for the next three days. Their prices were better than reasonable especially in comparison to anything that I had found online in advance. The drivers do not speak English but fortunately I was able to translate to my husband and kid and in turn get a great value! Some of the people at reception were able to help us decide our plans for the day. Some were better than others including their English, but Marcela the head of reception was fantastic! She went above and beyond to help me with a snag in my boarding pass issues. I speak Spanish and did just fine but the majority of the hotel staff and the rest of La Paz do not speak English, so beware. If for some reason you NEED to go the crazy city of La Paz, I would definitely not hesitate to stay at CGS! It was the highlight of our days in the Bolivia!

I can't say words to explain how amazing this hotel is - Casa Grande FANTASTIC !!! The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. After staying the first part of my holiday in a city centre hotel I had to move hotel as the staff were rude, no wifi , poor meals and a 5 star hotel supposedly was more like a hostel!! Hotel not like 5 star but Europa. After moving to the Casa Grande Suites - my holiday became a proper holiday as it is a quality place to stay The Casa Grande is just amazing and it was worth every dollar I spent there Amazing food , very professional staff and a great location in Zona Sur Very safe hotel and we had a great time This hotel made my new year Thank you

After staying in 7 different hotels across Bolivia - I loved this hotel. It had everything I could wish for. It was modern, clean and roomy. The bathroom was great with a place to put your cosmetics, a wonderful shower with a shower head and a hand held shower head. There was a desk for your computer, clock and bedside lights. Wi fi capabilities that didn't fail. The staff was considerate and all spoke English. The dining experience was marvelous. My lunch was delicious and the bread basket a real change from bread in other hotels. The only annoying thing was the staff moving tables around me while I was eating. Unfortunately, I didn't get to sample the breakfast as I had a 3am flight. This was a great way to end a very difficult and arduous trip across Bolivia.
