This hotel was so refreshing! It is very relaxing and very upscale. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from our room. The pool and spa area are excellent as well. If you are looking for a luxury hotel in La Paz - this is the place!

The whole staff from checkin, restaurant, and room cleaning where extremely courteous and attentive. Room was very spacious and clean. Quality of food in restaurant menu was excelente. Located within walking distance from some trendy restaurants, gastropub, and coffee shops.

We dined at this absolutely fantastic restaurant twice during our visit to La Paz. They prepare an amazing afternoon salad bar for an amazing price. Great food, plus great value in a really nice atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch. We will definitely be back the next time we are in La Paz.

The team at the hotel were friendly and polite, remembered our names and helped us with arranging transport to and from the hotel. The food at the restaurant is excellent, over 4 nights we enjoyed breakfast, lunch afternoon tea and dinner on different occasions. Local people we met over the weekend all commented that the restaurant was one of the best in La Paz.

The hotel is a bit dated but my biggest complaint were the extra charges they threw on my bill. They claimed I had laundry when I did not and at check out the lady said I took a towel. I pushed back on both and they finally agreed they were a mistake but what a scam. Just be careful with reviewing your bill.

Based on experience we chose an upscale locale to end our week long vacation in Bolivia/Peru. Great choice! We were pampered from arrival to departure. Had a Royal Suite on the top floor and felt like royalty. Enjoyed spa services and availed ourselves of the wet bar. Ahhhh. This is a four star hotel but the restaurant falls a bit behind. Service was good but a little slow, and we got the impression the waiter was just ready for quitting time. Steaks and fish served on oven irons which caused the meat to be overcooked. Flavor was still terrific. Booths looked scuffed and linens worn. I think I just wanted a massage more than anything and it was WONDERFUL. Muchos gracias Seniora!

Unfortunately I became ill shortly after arriving to La Paz from Peru. The support that I received from the staff at the hotel was exceptional, and I am so very grateful. I don't remember everyone's name, but will never forget Jose Luis. He brought oxygen to my room, helped me use it appropriately, called medical support for me and stayed until they arrived. He even made me tea! The medical team was incredibly competent, professional and arrived quickly. I needed a number of prescriptions, and Luis volunteered to go to the pharmacy. His smile and positive attitude made me feel like I was with family. ¡Mil gracias Luis! The service from everyone I came in contact with was exceptional including: the restaurant manager, the room service group, the reception desk and the manager who ensured that I had a special boxed meal prepared at 12:30 AM for me to take on the plane. The hotel and restaurant are fabulous, but it is the staff who make this a 5 star hotel in every respect. I'm back in the USA and feeling well. Hopefully I will be able to return to Camino Real in the future! Margie

We will be back for a second time, we went here on our honeymoon and unfortunately didn't make it downstairs in time to enjoy the spa etc so maybe next time we will enjoy! Great suite and breakfast. Thanks!

Best hotel in town, very modern with beautiful views. The rooms are beautiful, and there's an excellent gym/spa! Andrea was very helpful, and the rest of the staff very friendly and efficient. The location is in the south of the city, safe.

I stayed last week for this nice hotel, the service from all the staff was excellent. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant staff very attentive and delicious grilled meat. I hope to come back soon. Congratulations to Camino Real Suites
