The hotel is nice, facilities and rooms. Good breakfast. The area is a little remote from good restaurants, and somehow we felt it is not lively, the bar was closed on Sunday. The staff was nice and trying to help.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel, very impressed by the Friendliness and Fantastic service since you enter the door until you leave! They went the extra mile to make sure I was always comfortable. Really recommend the Restaurant food was very good and they also have a bar at the 7th floor with a gorgeous view of the city! The Whole staff was amazing, front desk, managers, restaurant...etc, 5 stars to all of them.

I guess it is a fairly new hotel but it is showing some signs of wear. Very quiet hotel. My room has a safe, robe, slippers, and mini bar. The elevators are pretty fast. You are within walking distance of a supermarket and ATM. There is a restaurant just one floor below the lobby. The air conditioner and heater work well.

Excellent, great staff, terrace bar, good food lovely chia and coconut milk appetiser for breakfast, recommend for short stay in calacota area. Spacious room good for working. Quiet area but some restaurants nearby. Enjoy..............................

Lovely hotel in the affluent Zona Sur of La Paz with great breakfast options and service. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only complaint we had was with the shower which was quite weak and would suddenly turn cold. However, this was a problem across most hotels in Peru and Bolivia. Maria and Pablo at front desk made our stay at the hotel even more comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them and did their very best to pre-empt everything from booking us taxis to packed breakfast. We had to extend our stay in La Paz as we could not travel to Uyuni due to local strikes. Maria helped us with an upgrade, things to do around La Paz, organise a local SIM card and exchange money, options on using the cable cars to tour the city. The staff in general is very attentive and well trained on customer service. We tried to call reception on our first morning there as we wanted additional bottles of water but there was a problem with the telephone so we decided that we would just request water as we were leaving. However, the staff had already picked up that there was a problem with our phone and within the next five minutes, someone had arrived to ask us what we needed and if they could fix the telephone. Room tip: All the odd numbered rooms overlook a parking lot and may want to be avoided as the views on the other side are much nicer!

My husband and I stayed at the Atix two nights. We were on our way to the Salar de Uyuni and Laguna Colorada. Decorated in a minimalist fashion, the Atix Hotel features Bolivian motifs, art work and photographs (mostly Salar photographs). Our room was comfortable, quiet and clean. Ditto the bathroom. Concierge staff was very helpful and resourceful.

We recently stayed here on the front and back end of visiting the salt flats, the service was excellent throughout. Abril and Sarah were both super helpful booking us taxis and drivers as needed for all our sightseeing (Tiwanuka, Valle de Luna) from the hotel. Room itself was fine, good neighborhood close to Gustu and some other good eating spots. Thanks for the great time!

Great staff, modern hotel and good food. I would say one of the best in La Paz. The only complaints I have is with the shower in room 506 where the hot water quickly turned cold and the thermostat in the room did not work despite this hotel being fairly new. Other than that I would recommend it

The ATIX is an excellent quality boutique hotel with unique decorations and high comfort. With excellent breakfast service and a great view from the rooftop bar a great home away from home. Bed is very comfortable, WiFi works.

ROOMS Stayed in Hotel Atix last week (mid August 2019), had rooms 409 for four nights and room 505 for one night wrapped around a three day tour in Uyuni. Room 409 is a corner room, excellent, walk-in shower, huge king bed, spacious room, 505 is a little smaller, queen bed, regular washroom shower in the bath. Rooms were not cold, if anything, too warm. Clean. Tastefully decorated, minimalist. HOTEL Hotel is decorated with some great artwork. Free welcome cocktail in rooftop bar. Excellent restaurant for dinner, high quality food, very affordable (mains US$10+ basically everything in La Paz is cheap). Excellent breakfast offered, make sure to try all the pasties if you have a sweet tooth, they were great. Good coffee. LOCATION Quiet hotel, some outside noise occasionally, way quieter than downtown though, area is safe and is La Paz's version of upscale and fancy. Very close (8-10 min walk) to Green line Teleferico cable cars. 30 mins taxi to airport at 3am, more like 1 hour in the day, set cost of 100 BOBs every time (about US$15). STAFF Staff were excellent, fluent English, helped us book taxis when we needed them for airport, made sure we had breakfast box for early departures, were all round courteous and helpful, cannot fault the staff, both at front desk and in the restaurant. OVERALL Hotel Atix is proper hotel with boutique-style 5-star comforts, at the same low price as a basic level Courtyard Marriot in the US. We were very happy with Hotel Atix.
