Thank you so much for such a comfortable stay! Loved how spacious the rooms were, the gym, and the steam room. The breakfast was ample and the rooms service perfect. Thank you again for everything and all the hospitality!
The hotel was absolutely amazing, and the staff extremely helpful and nice. Especially Luz and Ignacio, two front desk colleagues, helped us out in time of need (an unforeseen medical intervention) and deserve proper accolades. When in La Paz again, this is the place we'll be going to avian for sure!
We arrived, once again quite travel weary and when on arrival the staff were excellent, the rooms lovely and the food excellent - we felt revived! The hotel looks quite spacy from outside, but it is seriously well situated and lovely. GREAT staff!
When we first checked in we were worried about being so far out of the centre of La Paz. But the seclusion is very nice. Service was great throughout the hotel. The room very well appointed and clean. Breakfast was excellent.
It deserves for sure a 4.5/5!! (I still wish there was rating going by half points ) Excellent 5* hotel in La Paz. The rooms are spacious, clean with all what a hotel of this category can offer. Staff at the reception is very friendly and I have to name specifically Mauricio who was extremely friendly and professional throughout our stay. The restaurant at the hotel is simply excellent. The only minus point is that the hotel is not so centrally located if one is aiming to be close to the city center but the rest can definitely compensate for that. Highly recommended
We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay at Casa Grande. The hotel is very nice, quite new. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well equipped, with nice amenities. The staff is very friendly and professional. Special mention and thanks to Graciela (if I am not mistaken) from Housekeeping. Special mention also to Ignacio and Martín at Front Desk. And a super special mention to the amazing Mario at their restaurant Yerba Buena. Mario is the perfect example of Guest Recognition. We had gone away for two days and upon our return decided to have lunch again at the restaurant. Mario remembered the preferences to each and every one of the four of us (from drinks to special food requests). Amazing! The restaurant Yerba Buena was another pleasant surprise. The food there is exquisite (and we travel a lot and are quite demanding in terms of food quality). The risotto is the best we’ve had anywhere in the world (Europe, the Americas and the Middle East). The meat we’ve had was excellent!! The salads very fresh and tasty. We wanted to meet the Chef, Luis Fernando Ayala, but he was not there. We had the chance to meet his lovely wife who happens to be the restaurant Manager. Highly recommended!
The staff was sincerely kind and helpful. From check-in to check-out everybody was always nice and remembered your name. Rooms were clean, well kept and comfortable with a great selection of pillows. Casabar has a good selection of drinks and great-tasting small bites such as the smoked trout and ham. Room service is fast and the Yerba Buena restaurant has excellent salmon and steaks.
Excellent hotel with very good service. We stayed there for one night and the location was in a quiet part of La Paz which is what we wanted. All the staff spoke English which was helpful. The rooms were a very good size.
The atrium soars above you as you enter the reception area and as you look up there are 7 galleried floors looking down: 5 of them lined with beautifully appointed rooms. We had 3 short stays over a week and a half and the rooms, food and service were consistently great. Breakfasts are really good and the dinner we tried was excellent. The hotel is certainly luxurious but it is not stuffy, as shown by the plastic duck in the shower and endangered species soft toy on the bed. Whilst the service is outstanding it is not condescending or oppressive, everyone balances efficiency and friendliness so well.
We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and it only gets better . The staff who work here are stellar , Martin at the front desk always greets us as if we have arrived home :) Any issue you have they remedy and all requests are fulfilled I highly recommend this hotel and every staff member who makes it what it is . We used the sauna set by the staff with fresh eucalyptus which really helps with the altitude and dry air . THE BREAKFAST BUFFET IS AMAZING ! The management is doing something right - THANK YOU !
