Very clean room, comfortable bed, and good heating. Good breakfast, decent gym, and very helpful staff, all for a decent price. Also a great location- close to the university and the old town. I would stay here again.

This hotel is 2-3 blocks away from the old city. It takes maybe 15 minutes walking to the Cathedral. And most other attractions are inside a 30 minute walk. We even walked to the Monte Del Gozo so we could walk the last 5 kms of El Camino. We also walked to El Corte Ingles mega store. Maybe a 25 minute walk. The hotel has no parking, but they work with one location across the street for 9 euros a night. Be aware. That parking does not open until 6 or 7 am. If you need your car earlier you will need to park in a 24 hour location a block away. Just in case you have an early flight. There is a large supermarket next door. There is a pharmacy across the street. There are multiple locations to eat nearby. Hotel staff is great. Very modern bright and clean rooms. Would I stay here again. Absolutely yes.

We stayed here in a big group [pilgrims] and so our buffet food experience was a little hectic... like feeding time at the trough Nevertheless, the wine flowed like water (actually it flowed faster and more generously than water) so all sins forgiven. And the room was clean, modern and comfortable [though compact.] The public areas were polished and friendly and the staff were welcoming. The building is about 10 minutes walk from the main attractions in the city.

Very pleasant stay to kick off my holiday after 2 weeks traveling for work. Bed so comfortable, room spotless. Glad to be away from the crowd yet still within walking distance from the cathedral and shops Fantastic view of Santiago!

We were fortunate to be allocated rooms with terraces on the 8th floor. Modern, spotless room and bathroom. Good breakfast buffet. Great location; 5 mins stroll from old town, 5 mins more to the cathedral. Can't praise the front desk staff enough -really helpful and pleasant. Great value. Would be very happy to stay here again.

Stayed her with a group of 19 pilgrims from Ireland. We had just completed a section of the Camino Frances. The check in was efficient although they required all passport numbers, DOB etc etc. This seems a little excessive. The rooms are comfortable with good A/C or heating. Bathrooms very plush. Beds comfortable and nice bed linen. The dinner we had was in a large dining room and was buffet style. We had asked to eat at 21.00hrs as our party had wanted to attend the 19.30hrs mass in the Cathedral. This was not a problem . However, we were not told that the dining room closed at 22.00hrs. We had to eat our three course buffet in around about 45 minutes!! The man in charge ran the dining room more like a school canteen. In fact he stated at one stage if I left to use the bathroom I would not be allowed back in as he was now closing. We agreed to leave and suggested retiring to the bar with the rest of the wine that had come with the meal. It was at this stage that I found out that there was no bar and it would be illegal for us to take the wine with us. (I think we had paid for it!!). Breakfast was similar in that the table set for our group had to be vacated by 09.30hrs even though breakfasts went on for another hour. All a bit strange. I do think it is the first time I have been in a Hotel with no bar. There was a mini fridge with one bottle of beer between two guests. Very strange indeed. All in all, I feel this is a comfortable hotel with comfortable facilites but the dining room leaves a lot to be desired.

OMG, I thought I died and went to heaven. What a fabulous hotel, a great way to end my walk on the Camino. This hotel exceeded all of my expectations! The beds were comfortable, the hotel was quiet (it has many, many rooms and lots of people staying there). The breakfast buffet was amazing!!! Lots of choices of meats, breads, cheeses, a wide variety of fruits and hot eggs and bacon. The front desk personal were helpful, kind and pleasant. The staff in the breakfast room were professional and attentive. Location is close, 5 minute walk to the cathedral and area. Felt safe walking to and from the cathedral in the early morning.

The hotel is situated a 5-minutes walk South of the center of Santiago. Helpful staff. Rooms are quite big, very clean, and furniture seems very new. Room was quiet on the backyard. Good breakfast. Very good option in Santiago.

My wife and I arrived a few hours before check-in yet the friendly woman at the desk let us store our luggage there at no additional cost. Our clean room was large, the bath room with tub was large, the bed was a little too firm but 'sleepable", and our window looked out on to the relatively quiet city below.Nearby are a couple of minimarkets and about 10-15 minutes away is the Cathedral. The location is good - far enough away from the crush of tourists and "pilgrims" to make it quiet. We left early the next morning so we can't comment on the breakfast provided. My previous research suggested that this is probably the best hotel in the city for the most reasonable price. From my experience I would guess that this is probably the case.

Relatively new and modern hotel near the shopping area of the city but with one caveat- it is not located within the old historic center of the city. The cathedral is a good 10 to 15 minute walk away but the hotel is otherwise within walking distance of a lot of stores and restaurants. The rooms are large by European standards and are adequately furnished with mini refrigerator and safe. Beds are comfortable but the pillows are too firm for me. Quality of sleep is good. Bathroom is adequate in size. The front desk was slow with usually only one staff considering that there were a lot of pilgrims checking in or out by groups. The breakfast is adequate with eggs and breakfast meats. We had two other meals in the hotel and both were buffet. The food was not particularly impressive. Overall, it is a pretty decent choice for the city.
