Our stay here was a delight. Beautiful accommodation and it was so cool to get to stay in one of these traditional machiya. The bath especially was so nice and kept us going after long days of lots of walking. Location was very convenient being right by Shichijo station and several bus stops, with a convenience store right down the street. There was a mixup with our luggage (arrived a day early) and the check-in staff handled it for us even though it's not really supposed to be part of the services they provide. They also had a fantastic info packet for us when we checked in with things to do in the area, recommended restaurants, advice on local transportation and shipping your luggage, as well as a voucher that covers the distancd for a taxi ride from the check-in location to the machiya. This info packet helped us out multiple times and was extremely well put together. This was our favorite place we stayed during our vacation and we hope to be able to come back in the future.

古い下町に快適な町屋

大学時代の仲間と大学再訪と下宿先を訪ねる旅でここに泊まりました 観光客はこんな細い通りに何もないのに？と思われるのでは？ 中に入れば古い柱や間取りはそのままに水回りなどは最先端！静かで時間も忘れて過ごせました 茶菓子まで用意されてて感激！でもﾃｨｰﾊﾞｯｸﾞも珈琲もない 慌ててｺﾝﾋﾞﾆに走りました 掘り炬燵の和室に二人のお布団ひくのは苦労しました
