This hotel was very good for the price. Location is excellent. Staff very friendly and breakfast was excellent and very good price for the food supplied. Traffic noise in room but overall an excellent stay. Staff were very helpful
traffic noise in front rooms but fine a/c.very clean good staff.a 10min walk from the square we had 5 day stay in june breakfast 1st class well worth 5£ a snack did us for lunch until dinner reception 24hrs plenty info on trips
Just returned from an excellent 5 night stay at the Pergamum hotel. The hotel is a little on the small side but spotlessly clean and in the perfect location with only a 5 minute walk to the main square. Our room was really comfortable and cleaned everyday and was the perfect base for exploring the city. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good value. It doesn't have a restaurant or bar but other than that we had a great stay.
Stayed here with my husband and daughter for 3 nights. The room was clean, bright with a large shower room/toilet. We had 3 single beds which was fine and overlooking the back of run down buildings...at least it was quiet. The bedding is changed daily which was great, and there were toiletries, hairdryer and mini bar in the room. The mini bar prices were quite reasonable although we didn't use it. The hotel is about a 5-7 minute walk to the main square which made it a perfect location for us. The breakfast was 25zlty per person which worked out about £5pp. It was suffice with a choice of breads/cheeses/bacon/sausages/fruit and cereals. You can order fried eggs or scrambled eggs which looked very nice. It was good value actually considering you could fill your boots! Breakfast is served in the cellar, which is really quirky and different. The reception staff were not the friendliest but the maid seemed very friendly. I would recommend this hotel due to the cleanliness and location. Free wifi available and safe.
Just returned from Pergamin, had a fab time hopefully you will so here goes. Firstly change your money over there you get a miles better rate, £4.51 here £4.86 there, I used a kiosk very close to hotel, from hotel turn left walk 500 yards to see his board on the St, his rates were the best all weekend. Flying time 2:25 I used Krakowshuttle.com for a 6 person transfer it was 119pln e/w & perfect, however the train is very easy, 4pln pp & probably quicker if you’re willing to walk 15 mins from Krakow Glowny station to the hotel. The hotel was perfect for a city break, clean & tidy friendly staff lovely rooms & 10 mins to the square. The brekky was 25pln pp added to your check out bill, it was just ok, yes it did the job but doesn’t compare to other Euro breaks I’ve been on, there’s a nice pavement coffee shop at top of St If you can manage with just a coffee & croissant etc. I went to the Salt Mines independently, the train is easy peasy 3.50pln e/w 20 mins away & 5 mins walk at the other end, all tolled it was 91pln (84 entrance) some Brits I was talking to had paid 250+ via Taxi’s & booking agents, btw you can buy your tkt on the train if the machines seem daunting. Went Auschwitz 5 years ago so didn’t bother again so can’t comment. Cheapest beer was 5pln at the Free Bar on Slawkowska St you’ll walk past it on your way from the hotel to the square look for the board & swirling light on the pavement at night. Best meal was at Piano Rouge on the square, great food not to expensive, acoustic duo at 9 all in lovely plush surroundings, you can try it for drinks also. All in all there are bars & restaurants round every corner all just as nice as each other it’s a matter of taste, but on a nice sunny day there’s nothing like a cold beer sat in the square people watching, you will be busy, 1000’s walk past. ENJOY.
Just back from 3 nights at the hotel. Very good location with the Town Square only 5 minutes walk and the train station only 5-10 minutes. Room size was very good and was kept spotless by the maids. Staff at reception also very nice. Only downside (and not the hotels fault) was a group of Irish lads who seemed to be hell bent on being as loud as they could. They eventually stopped when the reception staff informed that the police would be called should it continue. Unfortunately these guys were in the room next to us and more in the room above us, with the result we could hear what they were speaking/shouting about and also had to put up with the moving about of furniture. If going back I would ask for a top floor room to negate the ceiling noise.
The rooms are airy and large, with lovely big chandeliers and all are slightly different too. Peaceful at night and 24 hour reception. Staff are helpful. Breakfast buffet is ok, a good range of items but not catering to GF/non dairy. Overall though good quality. Reception always smells wonderful!
Really good hotel. Great location lovely breakfast. Excursions can also be booked at reception. The castle was magnificent. Don't worry about the weather as they have little carriages that are completely under cover that do tours. The square is fabulous for eating out lots of choice and not to expensive. There's was a market on the Saturday that sells lots of different things, souvenirs etc. So much to do you can get a map from reception. Shopping centre at the train station is brilliant. Enjoy
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during the Easter holidays. Perfect location, near to the train station and main shopping areas. The hotel was spotlessly clean; room was spacious and warm. Very powerful shower, daily clean towels provided. Would stay again.. surprised as this was an inexpensive hotel. Great value for money.
Very nice hotel and very clean we will deffo be making another visit as this hotel is very central and offered everything we needed in terms of location and the breakfast was very good too if not a little expensive
