Stayed here for an overnight return trip from zakopane, a well furnished hotel apartment upper level bed locations on mezzanine floor above main room for our group. Clean and we'll located to square , a great stay and would Rebook again
Stayed in January 2018 for four nights for purpose of holiday. Picked this place as it was economical and fairly central location - close to train station and town. Room: reasonable size and comfortable. Well appointed. Nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. There is a pod coffee machine and mini bar at a cost. Complimentary tea and coffee provided. Tv with no English channels. Cleanliness and condition: The room was reasonably clean however there was mould in the bathroom (see picture) and I found what I believed to be single mouse dropping - it might have fell from the exposed wooden rafters ??the sheets were clean and seemed to be changed daily however one time there was old stains on it (washed but still present). There was no consistency of the towels (see attached photo ) - one normal and one worn and frayed. Staff : spoke English. Not engaging but polite and friendly enough. Satisfactory to our needs. Breakfast : had it twice. It isn't fancy but there are enough options to suit most people's needs. You can definitely get something cheaper in the city however it is convenient and you can eat as much as you want. I would recommend getting there early as we had it later on one day and it looked affected from sitting out on a table uncovered. My main issue with the accommodation is the noise. There is no sound proofing so you will hear every sound and every detail of conversation from those above and next to you including the chamber maids moving furniture above you. I would consider staying here again
Stayed here with friends during the first week of January. Fantastic location within minutes from Main Square, accommodating staff, plentiful breakfast and spacious and comfortable rooms. TV in rooms do not have English channels but this was not a problem due to good free WiFi and limited time spent in room. Trips booked through reception were good value and I would stay here again if I was to come back to Kraków.
The hotel was very close to the square of the old town. It was only a 5 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was quite basic but was in an ideal location and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were cleaned daily but they could of been cleaned better. We were given clean towels daily. There is free wifi in the hotel but it wasn't working while we were there. I would recommend this apart hotel to other people because of the price and location.
I booked this hotel for my boyfriend's Christmas present and flew out on Boxing Day: the price was affordable and the location seemed perfect. I was a little dubious as some of the other reviews had said it was quite small however, for the price, what do you expect? On arrival I was very pleasantly surprised, our room was a little small but for two people, not an issue. It was very clean and modern, with a working fridge and all the amenities. The bathroom was clean with a very powerful shower, comfortable beds and a large television with a DVD player if needed. The room was cleaned daily and the friendly staff went the extra mile, booking trips for us for cheaper prices then on the high street and speaking to tour operators that we had already booked in England to confirm dates and times. I would certainly recommend this hotel, it is a 5 minute walk to the tram services and 10 to the main square. A perfect location and comfortable welcome makes it a great choice.
A good little hotel located just around a 250m to the north of the Planty. The staff a little hit and miss depending who was on. Speaking a little Polish was appreciated. Rooms very small – not much spare space for your cases and bags. Cleaning on the surface was good – bot not so in those hard to reach areas. The shower was exceptional, very powerful and hot water available always. Free wi-fi useless. We were fortunate to have free breakfast in the deal we picked up through Travel Republic. The breakfast was adequate – the coffee however was excellent. This hotel is a good choice for a cheap getaway or those on a budget. You will need to pay more if you require some luxury.
We visited Krakow in early December, 2017 & stayed here. It's in a good, central location, within walking distance to the Christmas Markets & a very large shopping centre. There is a bank just along the street with an ATM just inside it's door. This provides extra security for when you withdraw cash. The hotel staff are very friendly & the receptionists all speak English. Breakfast at the hotel, although, not included in the price, represents good value for money & is a very convenient way to start your day of sight-seeing in Krakow. I found that the room lightning was on the dim side, brighter bulbs would be helpful.
Myself and my friend are just back from spending 4 nights at this hotel. It's a great location, a short walk to the old town square and christmas markets. There is a supermarket next door and plenty shops and restaurants near by. The room was clean and warm, with a mini bar, plenty storage space and a nice bathroom. Towels, tea, coffee and hairdryer were all provided. We had their buffet breakfast the first morning which was nice - good selection of hot and cold foods and the dining area is very quaint. All the staff we encountered were very helpful, getting us extra pillows, confirming tour bookings and ordering us a taxi for the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again
Stayed as a couple for four nights in November 2017. The hotel is reasonably placed with a 10 minute walk to the main square. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is adequate - fresh eggs on request were good. The room is the problem for me and why I haven't given it more stars. The room was clean but quite small, so small in fact that the double bed had to be against two walls meaning I had to clamber into bed from the foot of the bed. There were also no bedside tables or shelves near to hand and for me these are essentials of any hotel bedroom. Apart from this everything was fine.
Very close to the main square. Clean and nicely decorated/furnished room (maybe bit small, but fine for a city break). Comp coffee/tea and toiletries. Coffee machine but must pay for pods used. Very nice breakfast. Helpful staff on reception that spoke very good English.
