The hotel is in a great location for visiting all the attractions in Krakow. Staff very helpful. We had a deal that included meals at its sister hotel which were very good but relatively expensive for Krakow and we were charged for meals that were not provided.

We stayed at this hotel over the Easter weekend. Cannot fault this hotel from the excellent service on reception to the comfortable room on the 1st floor and the first class breakfast in the cellar. Excellent location situated between the square and the castle both within easy walking distance.

Plenty of positives, plus one or two niggling little negatives. We were generally very pleased with our choice of hotel. The location is very atmospheric, in an old historical building and diagonally opposite a beautiful little church (St Peter and St Paul) with occasional classical concerts that you can hear, and, most evenings the hauntingly beautiful music from the cellist playing outside. Turn right out of the hotel and in a few minutes you're at Wawel castle. Turn left and in ten minutes you're in Market Square. Because the building is historical, this imposes some constraints on what can be achieved in it hotel-wise, so one of the minor downsides is that there's no lounge area as such and if you have a late flight, there's nowhere really to sit and relax and wait for your taxi, although the hotel will store your luggage for the day. Hotel reception staff set the tone for this place, and are excellent. Patryk booked airport transfers for us, as well as trips to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines (see my separate reviews). Breakfast was adequate and we particularly liked the coffee machine. Although the breakfast buffet was nicely set out and quickly replenished, there were one or two things that were a bit hit and miss: (1) there were spoons in some of the sugar bowls; others not, and (2) there were menus for cooked eggs on some of the tables but not every day, so it wasn't until the last day that I learned that we could have had fried eggs on request. Also, the breakfast staff on two of our four days could have been a bit more welcoming - with a smile, it always helps! Room was good, powerful shower (only) and immaculately clean. Nice outlook from our Room 203. Bit of noise from outside, the clip-clop of horses hooves always nice to hear, the noise from late night drunks less so (but no fault of the hotel). Take earplugs if you want a room on the road frontage and you're a light sleeper. Some reviewers say beds are a bit hard, but we found it fine. The only problem was with the curious arrangement of single duvets on a queen-size bed. Difficult to keep over you all night!!! Enjoy....!

In short fantastic hotel in a perfect location within the old town. The staff were excellent and very attentive especially Patrick, who recommended nearby restaurants and organised a packed breakfast when we had an early start. We wouldn't hestiate coming back here again.

Great hotel in a great location, greeted by very friendly staff who gave us all the information we needed for our trip and stay. The bar is very nice and well priced especially during happy hour 19:00-21:00!! The breakfast is the only downside to the hotel as there isn’t much of a hot selection but maybe that is just polish tradition. Would definitely recommend this hotel, rooms are clean, well sized and very comfortable with all amenities needed.

Just had 3 nights in Hotel Senecki - a great hotel. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. We were lucky enough to be given one of the 'suites' which were fantastic. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help and give advice. Great location also - just a 5 minutes walk to the main square. Highly recommended.

Situated only a few minutes walk from the main market square, it's also in a relatively quiet location on a pedestrianised street. Five minutes walk in the opposite direction gets you to the Wawel Castle. The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to offer a number of local tours, if you havent already arranged them. The hotel rooms are arranged on three floors. We had room 304 which is at the front (picture follows) which was a comfy good sized room with shower. There was a safe in the wardrobe, a mini bar, and there was also bottled water, coffee and tea available at no charge. Also wifi available free of charge throughout the hotel. The breakfast was excellent (picture follows) with a great choice of cold food, and scrambled egg and bacon available to order. Coffee from a machine, and that was good too. The breakfast room and bar is situated in the cellars which have been renovated in a really nice style. Theres also a fitness room, although I didnt use it so am no fitter than when I arrived there. Theres a lift to all floors, and a restaurant on the reception area floor. We checked out at 12 but weren't being collected until 5, so the hotel allowed us to store our cases there for the afternoon. All in all an excellent hotel, in the right location and with friendly helpful staff

Stayed here for 5 nights in mid March - couldn't ask for a warmer welcome. All staff from front of house, to breakfast to evening bar staff were helpful efficient and friendly. Rooms were spotlessly clean and importantly warm. ( Temps below freezing for most of our stay ). Breakfast was continental - plenty of choice and lots of fresh fruits and breads. Ideally situated in the centre of Krakow in the old part of the city.

We have just stayed here for four nights, lovely little hotel perfect location, good showers, good bed needed more pillows delivered, tea/ coffee making in room, warm room, good breakfast generally really helpful and nice team be back

Stayed for five nights and this hotel is as the title says. Location is perfect for exploring the old town and all the area has to offer. We stayed in room 304 which overlooked the street and St. Peter & Paul church an added bonus to this was late afternoon a musician played a cello in front of the church a wonderful addition to a perfect setting Breakfast served in the basement great selection of hot and cold food. Have to mention the staff so helpful and friendly made us feel very welcome. We had a wonderful time in Krakow and this was enhanced by this hotel and the staff
