The hotel has a great central location, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a single room which was clean and basic, although it was clearly a room for someone disabled and so teh plastic sheets on the bed were not very comfortable. Breakfast was basic, however ok. I would stay there again, probably in a different room though
Just got back from a 4 night stay, this has to be one of the best European hotels I have stayed in,the room was perfect very clean and spacious we stayed in room 305 on the 3rd floor if you’re a smoker there is a balcony just outside you’re door. The hotel is situated right in the old town 5 min up the street is the main Square 10 min down the street is the castle,if you come to hotel by taxi during the evening the streets are pedestrianised the taxi will drop you off literally a 2 min walk away you can see hotel when you get out.The staff are all very friendly and speak good English and the cleaners do a great job cleaning rooms. Will definitely be returning dec 18.
A pretty nice Hotel in the middle of the old town from Krakau. Very nice rooms with Coffe, Tea and Water for free. Air Condition, Big Bed, Nice bathroom, TV, Minibar, good Breakfast and very very lovely personal. If I ever will be in Krakau again, I ll stay there.
The location is central to all attractions in a very festive pedestrian street (if you don’t count the horses and carriages). We had a room on the third floor facing the front of the hotel. It was great fun watching the world go by. The room was very well appointed, comfortable and cosy. The bathroom very good with nice toiletries and plenty of towels. The housekeeping is very efficient. The front desk staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I had phone charger problems but they soon sorted that out for me without fuss. The breakfast is served in a quirky downstairs room. There are plenty of choices both hot and cold and you can be sure you will be cattered for. When again in Krakow, we would happily return here as we were very well looked after.
We stayed at this well situated hotel for four nights in early December, we chose it for its situation within easy walking distance of the major tourist sites, and its approx 20 minute stroll from the main train station. Our room (401) was on the fourth floor at the front (n.b. the lift only goes up to the third floor) the room was very comfortable and had a mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities....the only slight drawback of the room being that, as it was the former "attic" the windows were very small and at low level. We could sometimes here noise from the street below but not if the windows were closed. Breakfast buffet was well prepared and had a good selection of hot and cold choices. The staff throughout our stay were very polite and helpful ...especially the reception staff who suggested some of the best nearby restaurants and made the reservations on our behalf.Three decent Polish restaurants for example are within 5 mins walk the Black Duck (Czarna Kaczka) , Pod Aniolama and Miod Malina as well as many other choices Italian , Mexican , Hungarian etc. There is a small "Spar" convenience store right across the road from the hotel open from 0600 to 2200 which is handy. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the hotel Senacki (think it's pronounced Senatski in Polish !) and would recommend it as an ideal base
Hotel was really nice, with a breakfast that cover all your needs. Near the square and in the middle of the town. We spend 4 nights in this hotel when we was traveling to Krakow during the beginning of December: The staff was very friendly and they helped out with for example booking a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau (recommend a visit there, a MUST do).
Me and my husband spent a long weekend (3 nights) in Krakow in November. We were part of a large group but we were the only ones staying in the Senacki - and weren't we the lucky ones. I had researched Krakow quite a lot and I had fallen in love on line with this hotel and thankfully I was not disappointed. The hotel is beautifully decorated, wonderfully clean and inviting. The staff are always on hand to help and offer advice and guidance and the location is superb. It is just a few minutes walk from the hotel to the main square in one direction and wawel castle in the opposite direction. The hotel is on a great main street in Krakow with cafes and restaurants but it doesn't have the large number of clubs and bars that other streets have and therefore at the end of the night you have no trouble in getting a great nights sleep. Breakfast is served in the amazing basement and the variety and quality of the food on offer is superb. One morning following a big birthday bash, me and the hubby came down for breakfast quite late and the usual offering of eggs and pancakes had all been eaten, no bother, the staff went and cooked a fresh batch for us. Our room was stunning - it was huge and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Our bathroom, weel you could hold a party in the size of the bathroom. This hotel was truly amazing and I would definitely come back.
Excellent hotel & ideal location, handy to main square with numerous bars & restaurants walking distance. Friendly staff & breakfast is excellent with numerous choices. Highly recommend & would definitely stay again.
Whilst in a pedestrianised street the taxi driver dropped me at the top of it and pointed to hotel, which was a couple of minutes away. Pleasant room although on fourth floor when lift only went to third! That said I use the stairs anyway. The breakfasts were good with a chef cooking omelettes etc to order to supplement the plentiful buffet. I used the restaurant one evening when too tired to go out at the food was very reasonable with large portions and well cooked. I was able to walk to all the areas I wanted to visit. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble with one receptionist evening packing a fragile item I had bought in a box with bubble wrap. Would definitely stay here again when I return for a Christmas Market, this trip was sightseeing only.
Myself and my partner stayed at Hotel on a 4 night break between 13/11 - 17/11. I chose this hotel as it had been recommend to me and I was not disappointed. We had a standard room on third floor at the front of hotel. The room was spacious clean and bathroom was modern with good sized shower. Room had tea coffee and well stocked mini bar. Breakfast was great offering a great choice. The staff at hotel were so helpful. They assisted in booking trips , which were great, and go out of their way to help with booking taxi's or restaurants. I will be back to this lovely hotel ideally located for the old town.
