Great location- only walking distance to main square & quiet and very safe area. Small but clean rooms, good value. Breakfast was ok but more than acceptable considering the price point. Would stay again.
Our group arrived at Krakow by 9am following an overnight bus journey from Berlin. The hotel allowed us access to a few rooms that were already available so we could freshen up and store our bags for a day of sightseeing. I received a call from reception asking if we were happy with the rooms and service throughout was excellent. Prices at the bar were very reasonable and there is a large seating area at the entrance to the hotel. The buffet breakfast came with an excellent selection of foods, though hot foods were limited to eggs and sausage. Staff in the restaurant were very quick to clear tables, twice removing full plates of food while the guest had popped back to the buffet to get a drink or some cutlery. The restaurant itself was spacious and easy to get around, though perhaps more than one toaster would have been helpful. The rooms were comfortable, with good quality free wifi. The view was of a bus car park, but the hotel is located on the edge of the old town so this is to be expected. The shower was big and there were no issues with water flow or temperature. A second towel would have been a bonus. Overall, this is a great value hotel with friendly staff in a convenient location. If returning to Krakow, I would book this hotel again without hesitation.
The hotel location is in a great location near historic center. And many of the sites to see in Krakow are walkable from the hotel. I see some reviews low however my experience was wonderful. Exceptional staff helping with transportation and finding locations to visit, large room with great view of town center, and quality breakfast.
Located just a few minutes walk through the part to main Square. Easy to find. Clean, comfortable with facilities you would expect. Only down side was we visited at possibly the hottest days of the year, and air conditioning would have been wonderful. Would recommend and will stay here again on our next visit. No room safe, although able to store valuables at reception Breakfast OK but not keen on the shared tables! There is a little bakery with seating just down the street which is much nicer. Plenty of restaurants round about, and dumpling restaurant adjoined to hotel was very nice
extremely close to the old town with a lovely park walk straight across the street. our room was big with a balcony and sitting area. TV had music channels so happy teen!!! WiFi excellent, again , happy teen. everything was spotless. staff were friendly and helpful. they took our bags early and kept them after we checked out. supermarket (with rudest staff ever but cheap coffee) just next door as there was no coffee making facility in room. we were there Sunday to Thursday and noticed a lot of stag/hen parties checking in as we were leaving.really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Very handy for the city centre. The room was adequate for our needs, plenty of space and wardrobe storage and the shower room spotless. However no A/C and it was pretty warm at the end of June so had to leave windows open with consequent traffic noise from the bus park at the rear.Breakfasts were adequate, plenty of choice and some hot.We ate twice in the restaurant and found the choices extensive, tasty and good value.
the hotel is in a perfect location just a few hundred yards from the main square where there are countless bars and eating places. would certainly go again. there are plenty of tour guide shops nearby and the coach pick up point is right outside the hotel.
The hotel is conveniently situated just 5 minutes walk from the Old Town main square. The staff are friendly and helpful and the double room I occupied was both clean and spacious with daily clean from efficient staff. The hotel is very reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast was good On the downside: there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room and no room safe for valuables. Additionally, there was no air conditioning(not a big problem as weather was cool) and I could only get Polish TV on the room Television set Overall a reasonably priced, conveniently situated 3 star hotel
Very close to the old town and market square the hotel (a modest 3 star) should have been ideal and if you were lucky enough to get one of the front bedrooms with balcony. However the majority of rooms, which seem to have been converted from student accommodation or similar are so small that 2 average sized people cannot comfortably dress together. The bathroom, newly refurbished had a shower so small that it was impossible to wash in it and the basin was smaller than a bird bath!!
Hotel clean , near to centre ,always go for the premium room as the standard is small with no tea/coffee facilities, pleasant staff , krakow itself was a beautiful city would recommend anyone to go , the only drawback was the money exchange , be aware the signs outside telling you the rate is not what you get ! Always check first inside and ask as we lost a considerable amount due to thinking we were getting what was on the board outside other than that food was delicious and as long as you get the right exchange cheap .
