You can't beat this place! It is our 8th time returning in 9 years, and we simply love it. It's beautiful, peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. The most beautiful water/beach in Thailand, private and secluded at the northern tip of the island. There is a gypsy village down the beach if you want to escape for one night for a meal, but to be honest, you'll want to sit under the stars and swaying palms on this resort's beach at their restaurant/beach bar and enjoy an incredible meal and wine/cocktail as you just can't sap it up enough!!! Rooms are villas with an half-open inside/outside concept, great beds for wonderful sleeps, air-conditioning that makes it cool to sleep, an incredible beach, beautiful grounds with lush plants, an amazing buffet breakfast, water sports and day trips available, and beautiful staff that offer world-class service and a GM that really cares for the tourists staying there. Thank you again... We can't wait to return!!!
3 nights in paradise ,after the hustle of Bangkok ,Zeavola was a welcome break .It was easy to get the ferry from Phuket which pulled up outside the resort then long tail boats delivered us right on the beach a quick check in and we were swimming half an hour later on the white sand beach. The villa's were authentic and private and very comfortable the staff were fantastic and the beach bar and restaurant was a great place to hang out and enjoy the comings and goings in paradise
You get to experience traditional Thai household, all furniture and interior design are very charming. Breakfast were just great, I looked forward too try everything on the menu. The dinner at the hotel is on the beach you can choose whether to dine and drink on the bean bags or dining table...
Mesmerizing. This is the very first feeling you experience while scuba diving. Down in the water where everything moves slowly, I experienced the ultimate calmness. Time, along with my heart beat slowed down. All my worries & problems are left behind, on the dry land. When i was scuba diving, nothing else mattered. Scuba diving is the perfect opportunity to feel amazed by the beautiful and vast ocean. A sense of deep relaxation took over because I only focused on my breathing and paddling; I see and hear nothing else and thus nothing comes in the way of enjoying the beautiful marine life I see before me. Being a vegetarian all my life, i was disgusted with fishes. When I was diving, I became one with the fishes in the sea. Fishes come closer to take a curious look at me. I realize that I am an alien in their world. I love fishes right about now!! (Still not gonna eat em) I feel proud of myself for overcoming one of my biggest fears of the sea and go ahead with scuba diving. I am so grateful to my instructor, Bella (from Pamplona, Spain) who was with me at every step and made sure the only thing which I had to worry about was to have fun. She is probably the nicest person in this world! Previously i was someone who loved the beaches, the views of the sea and enjoyed a good swim, but never entered this truly magnificent under water world of scuba diving. But not any more. I am now a member of a very special community. I am a scuba diver.
We spent 3 nights at Zeavola and wish we could have spent more!! We had a Pool Villa, which was true paradise. The room itself was gorgeous perched up on the hill with a breathtaking view. The highlight of our stay though, was the Sunset Cruise. We were taken to Bamboo Island. Our personal waiter, Jakeoff, was absolutely the best! He set us up on a remote part of the island where we had our champagne, tapas and a front row seat for the best sunset ever! Jakeoff also took many pictures for us as we were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I cannot say enough about Jakeoff and our Sunset Cruise, it was truly wonderful. The next night, we were surprised at dinner with a cake for our anniversary! Zeavola is truly a very special place and I highly recommend it! It is a true paradise and heaven on Earth!!
Our every need was met. We were welcomed and from that moment inwards spoilt. The personal touches; receiving a gift in our bed daily (all locally made) added the touch of them truly caring. The ladies doing the cleaning and make up od the bedrooms were extraordinary. A place we will certainly come back to.
This Hotel is the best of the area, you feel free!!, Nice service, very unique!! If you can stay in this hotel, you have to go to the spa and take some cooking classes. Taking a bath outside was the best experiences, people is very friendly.
The rooms are very charming, the food is wonderful and not overpriced and the spa is also very good. We went there on our honeymoon and I wished we stayed more days. We also did the boat tour from the hotel to Maya Bay and it was lovely!
Zeavola is simply amazing. We went to celebrate our anniversary. The quality of our villa was superb, with a brilliant combination of a quality bedroom, living space outdoor and the outdoor shower. All the little touches all well thought out. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Spa was beautiful, slightly expensive, but hey!!! We tried food in other establishments along the beach, but the meal at Zeavola, on the beach in candlelight, beat everything else hands down. We saw some of the other accommodation, neighbouring Zeavola and in the town and nothing we saw came near. If you want a lazy beach experience combined with a very in touch with nature experience then Zeavola is an absolutely must. We will relive this experience for a long time Thanks everyone.
This was the most expensive venue I had booked for my trip (all of which were 4 or 5 star) and I was looking forward to something which sounded like paradise, and never have I been more disappointed. It's lovely to be met on the idyllic looking beach with cold drinks and towels, and the front of house staff house are friendly and helpful. And that's where my positive comments end. The rooms, with their outdoor living spaces, are in reality poor quality wooden shacks. Mine was so dark I could hardly see. The furniture and fittings are not shabby chic, they are just tatty. The shower wouldn't have been out of place in a backpacker's hostel. You're certainly close to nature - after a week in Thailand I had just 1 mosquito bite, I had another 5 by the time I'd been shown my room. The electric tennis bat in the room for swatting insects should have been a clue. Using the outside living space was a constant battle with the bugs. I had to have a millipede and a cockroach removed from my room. And the mosquito netting around the bed had several large holes. Goodness knows what else was lurking in the gloomy corners. Even with the blinds down around the living space it's hardly private. My shed was so close to the one next door that I could hear the couple in there having an intimate moment! Opening the net curtains in the bedroom would leave me exposed to another neighbour. The grounds and pool are unimpressive. Nothing on the menu tempted me (I ate well at a small local place in the 'sea gypsy village' down the beach), but I had a couple of drinks at the bar and the service was slow and surly. I hardly slept for fear of what the wildlife might get up to next, and checked out as soon as I could. Like others reviewers I was told that my original three day booking was at a special 3 for 2 price, so no refund could be offered, leaving me having paid close to £500 for one night of misery. But to be fair to the hotel they then threw in a free transfer back to Phuket (value c.£50). I won't be back.
