Great place for really good price. Clean and spacious rooms, big bed, peaceful and quiet, with a short walk to the restaurants, shops and beach. Great pool too.

The property was a great value for the accommodation. Location was really good. Just outside of the party zone, but get close enough to enjoy it during the day. The bungalows were spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable in the air conditioning was efficient. It had a comfortable front porch to enjoy the view of the hillside. Overall I recommend it.

Koh Phi Phi is interesting. No vehicles, all walking paths. So many shops. Love this property. Friendly staff and very helpful

Wifi didn't work and hotel staff didn't speak English but it was a good value for a last minute trip to Phi Phi. There are stairs involved so be ready for that. It was nice to stay further away from the craziness hut still a short walk into "town"

New rooms not too close to the party area. You’ll still hear a little bit the music but it’s not to intense. Very confortable bed and the staff is very nice. The only down side and its very small is that there is an odor of sewage in the bathroom. And the pool did not seem to be working

Pros away from the loud music at night and excellent room and we seen a monkey at our hotel however cons I booked months ago and it seems they weren’t expecting me, I based choosing this bungalow off one of the factors of wanting to have the option to swim in the pool it was a massive factor bit we got there and the pool was unswimmable there was a frog and scorpion in it and i dipped my foot in and this awful smell happened because I disturbed the water. If they cleaned the pool then this bungalow would have had no cons

Great location behind main streets, far enough away to be quiet all evening, close enough that you can walk to and from shops/food/beaches without getting sweaty. Had to request different room because first room had a loud knocking in AC. Expedia beat walk-in rates so nice deal booking online.

Amazing! We stayed at one of the Bungalows around the pool...it was absolutely perfect. There is an absolutely massive shower! The pool is clean and well maintained. No complaints!

Fine for short stay or backpackers

Typical hostel good for short trips (we only stayed one night) or backpackers. Shared bathroom is inconvenient but you get what you pay for. Staff speak relatively good English and have a taxi service which is good. However they do not have an elevator and it is inconvenient for those with large amounts of heavy luggage

Don't stay here unless you want bed bugs

stayed here 3 nights. founds dozens of bed bugs bite after the second night. complained and got moved 9 rooms away only to wake up with even more bites. rooms 110 and 101. I have spent hours cleaning clothes and luggage since, with 10 days left in my trip the only solution seems to bed to throw everything away luggage included..what a waste

A Quiet Spot on a Party Island

The location is about a 15 minute walk from the pier, on paved pathways. There are no motorised vehicles on this part of Phi Phi, so everything is moved by hand pulled wagons. We were pleased to see a staff member from JJ Bungalow and Guesthouse at the pier, taking our bag, and led us to check-in and then carried our bag up the steps to our room. There were many steps, so this service is essential. He also provided the same service when we left. We wanted a quiet location away from the noise of alcohol-fuelled partygoers, and this was just the spot. They have a mini mart as part of the JJ complex, with good prices, and many restaurants nearby. The beach is about ten minutes’ walk. Our room was very spacious, with a huge bed, dressing table, wardrobe, chairs and table, tv and kettle. The bathroom was also very spacious with an open shower that was easy to regulate. The pool was large and clean, with a spa area and lots of lounges. It was in full sun until lunchtime, when the trees provided shade until the sun moved past and it was in full shade and a beautiful temperature for swimming. This hotel is not new and sparkling, but we paid a modest price for a large room in a quiet location. We were happy with our decision, on an island that has so much variety of accommodation. The provision of a porter to manage luggage is an essential service for this situation.

Quiet location with pool

Good value hotel in a quiet area a little bit outside of the centre. Short walk to bars/restaurants and to the beaches. Service was good and we were helped both ways with our bags. Nice pool area. Large room and huge, comfortable bed.

great place on Phi Phi

If you book the luxury rooms you will be very happy. Wood paneling etc. Cheaper rooms not so nice. Pool is great though no mattresses on sunbeds. High enough up steps to not need to worry about Tsunami waves but not too many to tackle. Short walk along dimly lit path to beach and nightlife not great for solo female travelers.

Overall good but bad aircon & hard bed

I would stay again but the bed was really hard and uncomfortable & the aircon was not cold at all. Also there was only one power point in the room.
