I had booked a room with private onsen, and it was fabulous. Room was big and clean. Service was impeccable. The public onsens were actually fantastic too, so you don't actually need to opt for the private one, as you could also book the onsen for private use. Food was delicious. Location was superb, right in the middle of town. I would love to visit again.
The first sentence is "should try once"!! OK. let's start. I was booked this hotel on their official website. Because only there website will provide one people plan for the hotel stay (2days1night included dinner and breakfast). And the next day, the staff contact me through email to confirm the booking and ask me about the needs. I think if have any questions people can asking by email. The staff was friendly and helpful when I arrived at the gate, one staff come fast to help me carry the luggage, I said don't need to be coz it was cumbersome, but he adheres to help me. Then he takes me to the lobby and does the check-in, the reception arranges for me have a seat and ask me the tea I liked and have a welcome dessert. After that have another staff help me to carry the luggage and takes me to my room. I was booked a 6-tap Japanese style room. But the room was bigger than I thought (If you read till this you can view the photos I uploaded). It's god damn chill. Those two public Onsen(Hot-Spring) - "Zui-sen" & "Ten-sen" will switch at a static time (staff will tell you), need to switch be coz it was separated men and women, and they hope all the people can try those two type of Onsen. (Ps. public Onsen couldn't take photos) I also tried another two private Bath, the family bath need pay and booked when you check-in, another open-air private bath do not need, you can walk into the tub directly and lock the door when it was no one is using. Last important thing is those water(Onsen) were very clear and enjoyable. And the food I can't tell much, as I always said different people are the different taste, people should try themselves. If asking me, it was absolutely delicious.
Accommodation was with wagyu beef course meal in the Japanese and Western Style room with outdoor bath (hot spring made from sourse）,and was good enough for charges. Although the exterior is contamination due to aged deterioration a little bit inferior, for the reasons why the interior has already been properly renewed in 2017, I was able to feel fresh in all places of the hotel such as room, public bath, cafeteria, entrance lobby and so on. The interior maintenance staff is wonderful ! Even if you can not notice this to the coins and pens that you dropped into the gap, they picked it up properly. When I was checking the dust in the corner of the room at check-in, it had cleaned. Before I think it is necessary, they exchanged linens such as towels during dinner. Regarding hospitality, it is considered important when staying, but all the staff are well educated firmly, while considering what customers are thinking, he actively responded to various requests. Especially, the correspondence of room staff “Nakai “ is polite and detailed. Although they devoted themselves to a scrupulous role, they immediately took the action the customer needed. You can have and enjoy cuisine in the newly-opened restaurant “chef’s kitchen KURIYA”. I was able to fully enjoy food materials and cooking. English conversation is good. The problem is adults only! (If your family have children, it might be impossive your family stay. If your child is over 15 years old, I recommend you to ask if you can stay with your late teen by phone.) I would like foreigners to stay in the facility that I ＆ Japanese think so too.
I recently stayed here for 1 night with my family. This Ryokan is very high in quality with exceptional service! Location : This hotel can be easily found on the GPS, and the hotel does provide parking as well. It seemed to be located right in the hub of Arima. Rooms : We opted for the classical tatami rooms. Each room has a living room quarters, separate bathroom with tub, and a lounge area. Hot spring : Arima is famous for its hot spring. They have both indoor, and outdoor pools. It is well maintained Food : We opted for both dinner, and breakfast, and found it to be quite good. Staff : The staff was very helpful at all times.
Located right next to the coach stop, Nakanobo Zuien is said to be the best in Arima Onsen. It is quite pricey, but definitely worth your every penny. The hotel itself is nicely decorated in a very warm tone. Each guestroom is named in local wordings. The room itself is not very big but its very enough and well equipped. Since we booked the normal room category, the view is street view. There is a private onsen room at 6/F, free of charge, do visit it during the day time. The onsen there is a lil bit hotter than the public bath. The public bath is divided into paid private bath and free public bath. We tried the paid one, around 2000 yen per visit for 1 hour. There is golden bath and silver bath. The golden bath is onsen with strong mineral content. The silver one is normal onsen. Very comfortable and very spacious. A must visit during winter. The food provided is fantastic. There are quite a lot of menu and do remember to choose your menu upon reservation. The reception will ask you about the serving time upon your check-in Breakfast is another plus, very full and traditional. Just the place (Arima) is a toursit spot, so you may find a bit crowded in terms of a tranquilent onsen resort area.
unbeatable location, service, food and onsen. must be a 5 star luxury hotel. JUST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Among all good things, the service and facilities stand out. they even offer a free shuttle services bringing us to the ropeway station at the top of the mountain. yes, the hotel is pricy but definitely worth it.
Stayed here for a night with high expectations given its quite expensive. The place is very nice and the room is huge. Dinner and breakfast were all in room and meals were absolutely delicious. Onsen is very clean and relaxing. Would recommend this place if you have a few extra bucks to splurge. FYI - The place itself doesn't accept children under 12 for their own reasons.
Amazing place and service. A little bit pricey but well worth it. The staff speak English well and cares guests. When we went out for a little shopping just at the 7-11 right across the street at night, the front desk provided us Japanese coats. The restaurant is good, and the view of the garden is beautiful. On upper floors you can have a good view of the mountains and the onsen town. It is not quite easy to get there, about one hour by train if you don't get lost. Again, it's well worth it.
You will expect a high price for a stay in hot spring hotel in Japan. But I love to do it as the food included and the service they provide will make the value up. This one is outstanding. First it is very close to the bus stop of Arima. And just next to the shopping street. The hot spring is beautiful. Only complaint is you need to pay extra for a private bath. Food is really good and we have dinner and breakfast in room. Overall a fantastic experience.
We took express bus one hour from Umeda directly. As the hotel was just next to the terminus, it was very convenient for us as we took the luggage and stayed overnight. This is a hot spring hotel, you can enjoy in public or private bath. For private bath, it cost ¥2000 per hour but suitable for couple or family to enjoy hot springs together. For dinner/breakfast, it was fantastic and delicious in Japanese style. The staff could speak simple English and so you could not have any problem in dialogue.
