Wouldn’t come to Japan any other way! Love JAL and thank you for the deals Orbitz!

The flight was efficient and safe, but there was no in-flight entertainment. And the meal wasn’t great. This is all fine. As expected for a LCC

Great job

I love flying JAL over American Airlines. Staff is fantastic. Entertainment selection was impressive. Overall, liked it very much. JAL should train most all other airlines flying in the U.S. Thank you.

One of the best airlines I’ve flown. The flight attendants are so friendly and helpful.

My first and best experience ever

Fly to Kobe

If you fly to Kobe, a historical trading port in central Japan, you can experience a tranquil but action-packed city. With Mount Rokko and the sea as its neighbors, Kobe is a vibrant city that never strays far from nature's wonders.

View the illuminated Kobe Port Tower at night as you stroll through Kobe Harborland. Once you're ready for a natural oasis, visit Nunobiki Falls near downtown Kobe to see the beautiful waterfall in action, and then meditate among the greenery in Sorakuen Garden. Check out some Buddhist buildings like the Taisan-ji Temple and Sumadera Temple, or visit a contemporary spot like the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art. Enjoy a sake tasting experience in one of the Nada District's numerous breweries. The historic Kitano-cho district features a number of lavish mansions open to the public. After touring a mansion, visit Nankinmachi Chinatown where delicious local food and colorful buildings can be found.

Hints and tips

Once you leave Kobe Airport (UKB), you can get around with Japan's Shinkansen Bullet Train, bay shuttle boats, local trains or buses. Some of the top annual events include the Festival of Ages and the Aoi-matsuri Festival. Kobe's humid subtropical climate produces summer average temperatures ranging from the 70s to the 80s and temperatures well above freezing throughout the rest of the year.
