Stayed during a week long trip from northern Virginia to Tennessee and back. This was the only hotel I wasn’t ready to leave. Awesome in every way. The wife and I are already planning a return to Knoxville just to stay here again.

This isn't a good value. It's expensive for what you get. It's the outstanding staff that saves it. No coffee maker, half height closet mostly filled by the ironing board. Charges for things they told us were complimentary, refused to apply my AAA discount, breakfast buffet was substandard, shower the size of a small phone booth, tv is mounted in such a way I couldn't plug in my iPad to watch my movies, room had a musty smell, not even a pool. There's a Holiday Inn directly next to it. Stay there.

The arrival is excellent with a feel for attentiveness. However, that is where this stay ended as far as excellence. The room we had (one of their highest category rooms) was nice with 2 king beds HOWEVER it had an adjoining door that was paper thin and the guest in the next room was on the phone at 11P. He was having a normal conversation, but it was like he was standing in our room. Also, room service was served with 3 dinners for 3 people and we had to eat on the beds as they ran out of tables

The best place to stay in Knoxville, without question.

My mom and I stay here over the weekend and we both absolutely loved it! It's in a great location, not far off the interstate, not far from the river and has multiple food options in the area. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly. I'd stay here again and again!

From start to finish, our stay was terrific. The staff and facility were first rate and the location was very convenient to both downtown and UT. Highly recommend

Really like this place. It was my second visit. They hit nearly every point of service. Great rooms, great people. Really like the bartender Tuesday evening. Front desk was excellent. Cleaning staff was exceptional. What a refreshing experience. They need on food options. Great room, great people and bad food. Easy fix.

Awesome associates!! They were on it to make you feel special and taken care of. When there were some small tweaks ahead of the visit, you certainly wow'd my experience. Much appreciated!! PS - The rooms were beautiful, and enjoyed my view of river walk and being so close to the art museum and downtown.

Upscale accommodations and a great location. Service was top notch

Amazing place. Great location. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. I wish we had some more time to enjoy the area.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Room and bedding was excellent. Bathroom facilities and showing were awesome. Staff were very helpful all the time

Staff is excellent, wonderful rooms, beds beyond comfortable. The location is so convenient to everything, we are very much looking forward to staying again!

Perfect location and excellent ambiance! Top notch hotel! Everything was perfect from valet to staff to room! Won’t stay anywhere else!

We were visiting our daughter in Knoxville as we have many times. We decided to upgrade from our usual chain hotel and stay at The Tennessean. I'm glad we did. The room was luxurious with a splendid bathroom, the staff was responsive, and the ambiance was ideal. Nice bar on the second floor, too. The only slight downer was that if you're walking to Market Square/Gay Street area, it takes forever to get across the main drag next to the hotel

The hotel is beautifully furnished and provides large bathrooms and comfortable beds. The staff are also very nice and helpful.

Had some difficulty with the GPS sending me in circles, and not finding this new property easily. A sign closer to the street would help since it is somewhat blocked by the Holiday Inn. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and had great amenities. Nice bath products, in-room espresso maker, safe, mini-fridge, nice bathrobe, large walk-in shower, built in nightlights in the bathroom, plenty of power outlets & USB jacks, even an umbrella available. Room service for breakfast was good, and delivered on time at the time requested. I will stay here again.
