Hotel wasn't awful, but there are better options nearby.. I'm not generally comfortable staying at a hotel that very visibly has " permanent" residents.. It seems part of this motel is more of an apartment complex.. I'd choose another option of there is an opportunity!

Was perfectly located for Labor Day weekend near the Smoky Mountains. Staff was extremely friendly. Very convenient location only 2 miles off I-75.

This was a good value. Beds were comfortable, I like the flat screen mounted on the wall. The only amenities we would've enjoyed but didn't have were the small bottle of shampoo and a hair dryer.

Not the best motel to stay at. But for the price may be it is.

This was day two of our 2014 summer vacation. This year, we're travelling "on the cheap" as best we can. This motel fit the bill, thanks to a Google search and by using a booking agent. After taxes, the room ended up being around $45. You get what you pay for in motels, certainly. They have rooms that are outside and inside entrance style. Ours happened to be inside. Common areas needed some maintenance, like paint and minor structure fixes. Rooms had basic amenities. The tv's had been updated...some channels even were available in HD. Wi-fi was available and free. Typical download speeds were around 3 mbps, although I did clock some numbers well over 10 mbps. There was no throttling for individual users. If there wasn't much bandwidth being used, you got to use whatever was available. Signal strength was spotty in one of our rooms. I figured they only had a handful of AP's in the whole building. The "free breakfast" wasn't a lot to speak and pastries was about it. Rooms were clean, but we had a small AC issue in our room...on of the knobs was broken, so I had to move it between the temp and fan controls. Also, on the two rooms I got to be in, the AC units were a little undersized. In my room, I ran it on max cold/max fan all night just to keep it comfortable. A couple of other notes: by booking online, I got a pretty good rate. However, the lady at the desk was not happy that I booked that way. She asked why I didn't call in. I didn't really answer her, but my reasoning was I was on the road and already in Google. Booking it that way made sense at the time. In addition, I don't think they had a system to sync up their room inventory with the booking agent. She had to log in to her email to find my reservation (which I had prepaid for). I was lucky that I didn't prepay for the room and get there only to find that they didn't have any rooms. In summary, the Inn of Lenoir was a quiet and clean place to put a roof over your head, but don't expect anything fancy.

Located very easily as its on the main street. Unexpectedly had an extra person with me on the trip and when went to register the staff handled very courteously and changed the room with no problem. Room was basic but very clean and the beds were comfortable. They had coffee and muffins/donuts for breakfast but very graciously referred us to another cafe for a regular style meal.

Showerhead and ceiling in bath so low, husband kept bumping head on ceiling, couldn't get under shower. Even too low for me at only 5'3". Did have plenty of hot water. Need new mattresses.
