We pulled in about 7:30 after driving all day. The girl in the office was friendly and welcoming. We got two rooms, and the price was excellent. Although the rooms were supposed to be nonsmoking, they smelled like old smoke. I hoped turning on the AC would help, but it didn't. The linens were clean, but the carpet was filthy. After we found a live bug in one of the beds, I went back to the office and asked for my rooms to be canceled and explained why. The girl said the owner would not do that, even though we had been there about an hour and had not even taken our bags out of the car yet. Before we left to find another motel, I requested that the owner call me, and he did not. I even tried to reach him the next day, to no avail. I have disputed it with my credit card company and reported it to the Knoxville area BBB, but it's too early to have results from them. I just know the owner was totally unresponsive. I'm not that picky, but I still don't think it's unreasonable to want a clean, bug-free room.

It is a bit run down, but clean enough for crashing after a long drive. Could use a lick of paint for sure. Friendly people working the front desk & Dogs are allowed. Good coffee in the office. No phone, iron, or hangers in the room.

The price for a room is pretty good.. The room was what it was, neither good or bad really! A bit dated, and a tad dirty, but for the price, it was an acceptable place to stay for the weekend! Seems there may be quite a few people who are " residents" but they gave us no problem.

The people who work at this "motel" {be warned: not all rooms have exterior doors} are very nice. There were several issues with my room, though, that definitely need to be addressed. The toilet would not properly flush even after someone came and "fixed" it. The shower head was broken, the beds had no blankets on them, and the room had no tissues/clock/coffee maker. Also, the Internet connection was slow and the television did not always have good reception. It was difficult to sleep most nights due to motorcycles parked right outside my door. This place, and all other lodging establishments, should always require motorcycle owners {and those with cars that beep every time they're locked!} to park far away from the rooms so other guests can get a decent night's sleep.

I want to start off by saying the staff are very friendly. I spent some time chatting with the woman who sat at the front desk and she was lovely. When we got into the room we did our normal cleanliness check and the room appeared clean but there were a lot of little things that made it feel not as clean. The fridge had stains on the front (clean on the inside) the bathroom had stains and rust spots on things and there were no bath towels. The room smelled funny, not dirty but not a fresh clean smell either. The water pipes made a lot of noise in our room and we could hear others taking a shower as well. There was a breakfast in the morning which had delicious danishes, good coffee, and little brownies. All in all, this place needs a face lift to give it that clean and quiet feel. For the price it is hard to beat. It was a place to rest our heads for the night.

The room was clean and comfortable. I would have rated it a 5, and not just for the price, except that we booked a queen, non-smoking room online shortly before we reached Lenoir City but were told on arrival that they did not have any such room, only a king which would, unfortunately, be more expensive. We were tired and paid the higher price but left feeling we had been had.

Great value! You can tell it is an older motel, but it was clean and comfortable. Furnished with a dorm sized refrigerator, microwave and cable tv. No coffee pot in room, but coffee is available at the office in the mornings. Soap and shampoo are very small, but that cuts down on waste - so it is good for the environment. Best is the extremely friendly office staff. Made us feel like they really appreciated our business. We plan on staying here again the next time we are in the area. Next door is a good breakfast/lunch cafe, and many eating establishments are nearby. You can pay 2 to 3 times more and get a fancier place (and we have). But if you want a good motel at a great price, this is the place.

After being on the road for 50 straight hours, we were ready to stop and get some rest. We saw this place in a hotel coupon book, and called for info. The reviews looked ok, so we stopped. The front desk clerk was extremely nice and accommodating. The room was very large, with a nice tv and good cable. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean. The shower wasn't great (took too long to get hot water, and the temp didn't remain consistent, also the shower head was low, so it wouldn't be good for very tall people). Overall, very nice, especially for such a good price. We will stay here again.

It's a beautiful ride to hwy 129. Beds were not good and noisy but sheets were clean. No blanket between the sheets and the bed spread. A girl was outside in the morning bumming cigarettes. Could hear toilets and showers from other rooms. The man working in the office was extremely friendly and was very welcoming. We would stay here again despite the bad bed and noise because it was cheap and clean. But I would bring a blanket for the bed unless you want to cover with the bedspread.

There was rust in the shower overhead, shampoo came in an unopenable plastic container like mustard or mayonnaise, the security chain was hanging off the door frame, bed was made horribly. They did have a refrigerator and microwave, and it was cheap. But you get what you pay for
