Knoxville is midway on our annual trip from Florida to Michigan and we found this hotel a few years ago. Very convenient to I75 and always clean and comfortable. Breakfast always fresh and plentiful. Friendly, courteous staff.
We stayed here two nights and were kept awake and then wakened early by heavy footsteps from the room above ours. Not running or horseplay by kids, seemingly one or two adults just walking about their room; which leads me to believe this is a build-quality issue w/ the hotel (i.e. lack of noise suppression between floors). Service, breakfast and cleanliness were typical of a Hampton stay -- no issues there, but none of these overcome the lack of sleep. Will not stay here again. Would not recommend it either.
Great Place to stay. Excellent staff and hospitality. Clean and easy access to the Knoxville area. Breakfast selection is very good, Fitness area is good, clean, and very useful to travelers. The rooms are extraordinarily large.
I was on my way to Nashville and stayed overnight in the Hampton. This is a typical Hampton, with very good lodging and very helpful personnel. The rooms are new and comfortable with the typical Hilton decor.
We returned for a second stay at this hotel. The property remains clean and fresh. Our room with two double beds was spacious, including the bathroom area. It was very quiet. The breakfast area was kept well stocked and clean. Parking is sufficient, and several restaurants including a Cracker Barrel are very close. The hotel is only a few miles from the Turkey Creek commercial area, which has many shopping and dining options, as well as movie theaters. The only glitch the entire time was the gentleman who checked us in gave us keys that didn't work so we had to walk back downstairs after a long drive and he didn't give us our free waters as Hilton members. Otherwise, everything was what you would expect from a better than average Hampton property.
I am a repeat customer of this hotel. The staff has always been kind and the rooms have always been clean and comfortable. I find the rates for this hotel to be similar or better than comparable hotels nearby. Because of their consistency, I keep returning as a customer.
This hotel is conveniently located to lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff was friendly and professional. I loved using the digital key. It was so convenient. The room was clean and well maintained.
I have no idea how this place has such a good rating, this is the worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in. The images used here and on the Hampton website have got to be at least 15 years old, this hotel in 2018 is neither new nor freshly renovated. The faucet fixtures were loose, there are rough patches of spackle on the walls (painted over at least), the bathroom fan makes this horrible droning noise that seems to be amplified while in the shower, and the toilet sporadically refills it’s tank. I’m literally lying in bed right now unable to sleep because I’ve got a crying baby in the room to my right and someone knocking who-knows-what into the joining wall to my left. The walls and exterior windows here are poorly insulated. The only good qualities of this hotel are the breakfast is decent and the bed isn’t sagging. Otherwise this hotel is overpriced for what it really is. I’m a La Quinta Elite member and a Hilton Honors member, but I’m sticking with La Quinta going forward.
Conveniently located, the Hampton Inn served as a nice, inviting home away from home for the weekend. They offered a large area near the lobby, where families gathered to eat breakfast or socialized throughout the day. They offered unlimited tea, coffee, and hot chocolate to all guests creating warm hospitality. The kids all enjoy making their own waffles for breakfast, but Hampton Inn offered many different breakfast items. Everyone in the entire family could find something they enjoyed. The rooms were very clean. The bed and linens were comfortable and contributed to a good night’s rest. The bathroom was also nice and clean. We initially heard others when we first arrived into our room, but did not hear any neighbors the remainder of our stay.
Finding a hotel in Knoxville (not including downtown) that is not backed up to I40 can be a challenge. And if you need quiet to sleep it can be bad. But we were so happy to find that this hotel was backed away from the interstate & near dining etc. The hotel was clean, quiet, & conveniently located.
