This was one of the poorest hotels I have stayed in.. We had cigarette burns in our comforter (in a non-smoking room). Our bathroom was disgusting.. stained bathtub, did not give a clean appearance. No desk or table to conduct business. The TV was sitting on top of Styrofoam?? WTF Staff was very friendly.. that was the only good thing. The owner ship obviously does not care about this hotel.
no heat in room, asked to change rooms, next room smelled like someone had been smoking, went back to first room with the promise heat would be fixed, it was not. I quit asking because no one cared. hallways smelled like urine and cleaning solution.
I am a housekeeper myself and I would not have approved of the cleanliness. The toilet was not clean and the tub had just been wiped out and had dirt marks still on the side of the tub. But overall everything else was in fair condition.
Location is good, right on Highway 97. Rooms were clean but for a non-smoking facility my wife and I could detect the odor of cigarettes from a previous guest. Staff were courteous but not really very knowledgeable. Could not have orange juice for breakfast because the staff member did not know how to attach the dispenser nozzle.
Good polite receptionist clean rooms good hospitality hallways or maintained and cleaned bathroom cleaned bed clean it was an excellent place to stay good location not that far from Crater Lake and not that far from Nevada close to family
This place is like a throw back from the late 70's early 80's. Not the decor but operationally. Had I known that this motel takes not only an imprint of your credit card on one of those old machines but they also take a copy of your drivers license I would have never in my life stayed here. Unfortunately I didn't catch it in time so now everything a person needs to impersonate me, commit fraud, etc is right here on paper. I am a high level IT Security professional and while yes, hackers happen, I would take my chances with trained IT personnel safeguarding my data far quicker than a company holding it on paper with no redacting, etc. I will be canceling my CC when I arrive home and thank goodness for fraud protection. I will also be be filing for extended protection with credit agencies even more so than I did with the Equifax hack. As far as the motel goes, not very impressed for the price. $80+ for a night with a pet. For that you should expect a flat screen TV at least and in a lot of places it gets you a pool and hot tub as well. Not here. The only place I see to eat in my walking distance is Subway but thankfully I want to eat there anyway. Would not stay here again, especially if I bring pet.
My truck dropped #2 injector and had to have towed 2 states away and this is the halfway point for us to stay. Room 311 is the best room with a queen bed and the only flat screen tv. But it is for the Dairy Gold driver.
Super 8 in Klamath was a nice place. The room was clean but a bit musty ? smelling. It was a handicapped room however it was a bathtub so my husband was unable to take a shower as he cannot get into a tub. They should tell people a head of time it is a tub. I was not told when I booked it. The person that checked us in (it was late at night ) was very cheerful and welcoming.
My wife and I had business to attend to on this trip. The room we had was very clean. It was on the ground floor. Which meant in this case it was below ground level. The window looked out below the parking lot. The internet was pretty fast no problems getting connected. After the first night we discovered the bed was too soft for us. So we asked to have a different room with a firmer mattress. They let us sit on beds in different rooms until we found one to our liking. Really good service. The breakfast was limited to a make it yourself waffle, dry cereal, instant oatmeal, coffee, tea, apple juice, orange juice, yogurt, toast, individually warpped pastries. Not good if you are a diabetic. The breakfast items did not change for the 5 days we stayed there. Changing the breakfast line up would have been nice but for $80 a night. The room was quiet. It is a no frills place and it is a step up from Motel 6. If you want a clean quiet room with free wifi and cable tv then this is the place. The location is on the out skirts of Klamath Falls. It is about 10-15 minutes to get into town.
I thought this would be the best price for 3 rooms and proceeded to sign up and pay. Turns out it was not changeable and we got behind loading the rental truck and left way late, not getting that far in our journey. We're 72 and 75 and couldn't push the extra 3 hours that night. The other 2 in our party decided to drive straight thru. So no one used the $210 paid. The 2 did stay there on their way down.
