Quiet in the woods and cooled down at night. Staff was very helpful.

Great location and friendly staff. Also good that they have a gas station and store.

Not at all what the ads showed on the website. Not worth $50 let alone $239.00!!!!!

The best thing about Stony Creek is the location inside the park, near the Sherman tree and Great Forest. The accommodations are pretty basic and less modern than some of the other newer lodges inside the park. The breakfast was only mediocre.

This rustic hotel was built in the 1940's, and while its aged, it also retains its charm. Friendly staff and great pizza in the hotel's restaurant along with a good complementary breakfast. Its central location within park boundaries make it ideal for those who want to explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Monuments.

Kind and attentive staff. Great location in the sequoias.

Wonderful little lodge. We arrived after check in and had keys taped to the door for us. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast delicious and wide variety. Would have loved having the kitchen open longer for dinner. We wanted to enjoy sequoia park until sunset- but then nothing was open for dinner.

The room was quaint and homey, including what appeared to be a homemade quilt on the bed. The staff was friendly and helpful. A yummy, hot breakfast was included. The facility was older, but clean and well maintained. The pizza in the onsite limited dining facility was quite good. On the downside, the oil heater was very loud, and it can take up to 15 minutes to get hot water in the bathroom. Also, there was no elevator, which meant hauling suitcases up and down the staircase for upstairs rooms.

Due to the location we can only get the basic of basic Wi-Fi resulting from all of the mountains that block the signal from the city life. However that is why there is the scenery to make up for the lack of technical communication.

We have wall furnaces that use propane and are unfortunately unable to do anything about that noise. We are sorry that you had such an unpleasant experience
