Plenty of windows and glass doors throughout make this home a bright and cheerful Maui escape. As you enter this condo, you are welcomed into the large, spacious living space with an updated kitchen, dining area, and family room all open to each other. With the large glass doors open, you add that additional outdoor space, and there is more than enough room for whatever activities you choose during your stay. Leave the kids to watch Saturday morning cartoons on the comfy pull-out sleeper sofa while Mom does her morning yoga routine on the expansive lanai, and dad sets up shop in the kitchen for cooking morning brunch.
All can dine comfortably on the covered lanai. If you choose to sit inside, choose from the breakfast bar seating or enjoy your meal around the dining table.
The guest bedroom is off the main living space and features 2 twin beds that can be converted to a comfortable king-size bed upon prior request. The guest full bathroom features a walk-in shower and is conveniently located just opposite the guest room entrance.
The primary bedroom has a plush king bed, TV, AC in the primary room, and floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors. The grand, spa-like en suite bathroom has a separate tub and shower and offers a large vanity area big enough for everyone to get beach-ready.
Added amenities include a washer and dryer in the unit, free parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, beach chairs, and beach towels. Please note, AC is only in the primary bedroom. The living room and guest room are cooled by ceiling fans and opening sliding doors.
The Palms at Wailea is an architect-designed, two-story complex with charming Mediterranean accents and beautifully manicured grounds, including two lily ponds joined by a charming stream. Located above the pristine shores of Keawakapu Beach, this impeccably furnished home will provide comfort, luxury, and plenty of room to spread out while you explore and enjoy all that Maui has to offer. The spacious covered lanai with a dining table allows for relaxing evenings while you kick back and enjoy the views. Lounge poolside in the afternoon and then relax in the Jacuzzi after the sun sets and take in the beauty of the brilliant Maui sunset skies.
The Wailea Golf Course and Tennis Clubs are just a few minutes away. Within walking distance are some of the World's Top Beaches as rated by Conde Nast International. If shopping is your pleasure, the elegant Shops of Wailea are situated a stone's throw away. For the adventurous type, you will find amazing snorkeling spots within a very short drive.
Please note that Palms at Wailea no longer allows private grills. There will not be a grill for you to use on the lanai of this condo.

All it described and more!
Overall the property is in an excellent location and checking in was extremely easy. The wifi was fast and the unit is conveniently located close to the pool with an ocean view. The AC is in the master so the rest of the unit can get a bit warm. Especially if using the oven. The condo has large windows making it perfect for waking up in the morning. The serving window to the patio does unfortunately attract some ants into the kitchen. Overall we would stay again!

Not a good experience as a VRBO previous customer. The location was great but the condo itself is tired and worn and needs upgrading. Issues were: worn, dirty carpets. The guest bathroom vanity was chipped, scarred, and broken at a corner bottom. There was mold in the corner of the guest bathtub. The front room blinds were broken so that one side could not close without manually pulling it, causing sunlight to warm up the room uncomfortably.There was a light bulb out in the chandelier above the dining table.The refrigerator had red lights on the read "water filter needs replacement" and "Air filter needs replacement"Coldwell Banker Island Vacations refused to provide any additional tiny shower gel bottles as the set was considered a "starter set" and the customer was expected to go out and buy their own. This is something a hotel would gladly provide. VRBO hosts normally provide more than one small bottle. This is the way Coldwell Banker Vacations treats their customers so I will not rent from them in the future

We were very please with the rental. It offered us a great place to rest, sleep, relax, make meals...between our excursions. It was clean. For the most part had all the essentials. My recommendations would be to add some games, books, playing cards, boogie board...
Nice unit but might need a little updating. The master shower/bath set up is a little strange and it could benefit from an icemaker and air-conditioning in the unit. It was clean.

We loved the location and the complex of Palms at Wailea, so close to so many beaches and honestly the best part of Maui. We were able to do day trips to the north side and Lahaina from there and we had all we needed in the apartment. A few minor things could have been better (warped frying pan, towel rack loose and fell off, and not enough hooks for beach towels as you cannot dry anything on the Lanai. BUT these are small things and we would stay there again and recommend the place! You have to manage the heat in the main floor (only a/c in master), but there are lots of windows to get breeze flow where the sun isn’t shining, and helped to keep the blinds closed in the main picture window while we were out for the day.

The unit was nice,but out dated.the AC doesn't really work. I had a late check out, but for some reason they change the code on the door earlier and I was locked out for a while. I call the number and no one answered.
This condo is located less than 5 min drive from the best shopping and restaurants in Wailea and Kihei, along with 2 great beaches. The parking is directly in front of the stairs to the unit and the pool is directly behind the condo, making it super convenient to hang at the pool. The bed in the primary is comfortable (pillows typical), and the AC in the bedroom works well. Good water pressure. Great view from the living room and lanai. The cons: This unit is very dated, other than the beds everything appears original. The kitchen is fine for coffee, snacks and the fridge/freezer worked well. It would not have worked if we planned to cook. You can't get into the utensil drawer if the dishwasher door is closed and the face is about to rip off. There is no barware. Half the windows do not open. The light is out in the exterior hallway making entry at night hard. The living room seating and lanai seating both are not comfortable for more than a few minutes. Both bathrooms functioned well, but need to be replaced soon - both toilets run. Overall, the unit is clean and suited our needs for 12 nights. We come to the island multiple times a year and this was the most expensive and dated one we have stayed in. We weren't disappointed, but also wouldn't book it again without a remodel.

Large space although second bedroom is not 100% a separate room. AC only in the master, was fine in January, not sure if that would work in the summer. I would definitely recommend closing the blinds before leaving for the day to keep it cool. Apartment is a little outdated at this point, but everything is functional. No bugs noticed during our stay. Bathroom in the master is a little awkward (offers little privacy), although mostly a non-issue for spouses. Living room is huge and the view is beautiful.

This was our 3rd time staying at The Palms and we love the location/complex however, this unit needs some TLC. Amazing view but desperately needs upgrades to the unit and kitchen appliances. Carpets and stools need professional cleaning. The unit only has one A/C unit in the master bedroom which doesn't flow into the rest of the unit. Overall the unit really lacks in comparison to the other units we have rented previously from CBIV and we wouldn't rent this unit again. Mahalo to the CBIV staff for their quick responses and actions.

Because there were no interior photos, despite asking several times we were disappointed. Misled to believe it was remodeled. It was not. Master bedroom/bathroom can't be used if someone is showering as you can see into the shower. Very outdated. But, overall you spend very little time inside when in Maui!
Had a beautiful vacation with my family. The condo was perfect for a 6 day stay, we had a slight issue with the whole condo not having a/c but the management of CB made up for it with their communication and making the situation right. We will definitely stay here again.
