Wonderful stay in Old Town!

Fantastic location right in the heart of Key West! Absolutely wonderful vacation that was made possible by the great staff and atmosphere at The Duval House. Very welcoming and prompt communication, the free drink at check in is a great way to start your down time. Breakfast has an assortment of pastries, fruit, home made yogurt parfaits and be sure not to miss the waffle! The cabana rooms are quite small but the square footage is covered when you book the room, it was just a bit of a shock. Regardless of the size the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and at the end of the day it's just a place to sleep and shower, the grounds of the property are where we spent most of our time while at the hotel. There's all sorts of hidden treasures here; fish ponds, the huge courtyard tree, a hammock and a covered gazebo, and a few cats running around as well! Thank you to the staff for a great vacation!

We had a nice room. Very clean. The staff was amazing and very friendly and helped with all of our needs. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was awesome. They answered all our questions and had really good options waffles with all the fixings, delicious fruit, bagels and coffee. Everything was perfect except the trip was too short.

I like to call it the shack in the back cause that’s what it was, unsafe no privacy check out after the first night. Do not recommend unless you like sleeping in a shack in the back.
