Muckross Park Hotel & Spa

This is a beautiful hotel in serene surroundings, well located for touring Kerry. The staff are very hospitable and charming. Our room was exceptional and spa treatments excellent, although vitality suite needed better servicing due to volume of usage on our arrival day. Food was delicious throughout (especially smoked salmon at breakfast).

Not 5 star anymore having visited within the last 5 years huge drop in standards in food & spa service. Remains a beautiful location and hotel but the experience had previously does not sustain unfortunately any longer.

I have never before experienced the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the Muckross Park Hotel and Spa. We were staying for a wedding and we will definitely be back to take in more of the surroundings and to enjoy the hotel again.

The Spa here is wonderful, the staff are so nice, and even though two out of three of us never got our cocktail from our package-we wouldn't hold it against them as every other aspect was amazing! We had lunch in the Monks Bar after our treatments, the staff here unfortunately were a bit haphazard.. we were shown to a table but then moved again as it had been reserved apparently. Then we were left waiting a very long time considering there was only one other table of people there, and the tables around us were dirty. Possibly had been a big crowd that had just left? But it was a bit uncomfortable for lunch to say the least. Reception staff so friendly also and the facilities were lovely. Unfortunately one of the muckross park hotel vans was blocking the drop off roundabout when we arrived as i wasnt to drop my mother to the door as the weather was bad. We had to park up and we had to run in the rai, not ideal. Still though, bar the negatives the spa experience was so nice it eclipsed any bad feelings about our visit.

Only stayed one night was upgraded to a gorgeous corner suite with a spacious room and extra large bathroom. Lots of amenities and comp minibar across the street from abbey and Waterfalls short ride to pubs/shops And city center would definitely return

Fabulous hotel, amazing spa. gosha the therapist was fabulous and took care of all my pregnancy needs. The food was delicious, fresh and with lots of choice. The room was very comfortable and luxurious

Can’t wait to go back, such a treat! Ensure to make time to use the vitality suite. Bike hire was a nice touch to explore the park nearby. Several options onsite for food and drinks and taxi to Killarney is about €10

Myself and a friend visited as day guests for the Bliss Spa package. As part of that, we opted for the afternoon tea and we’re glad we did- what a treat! We have had many afternoon teas and this was by far the best. The savoury selection went above and beyond in terms of flavour and presentation, whilst bringing out a number of local specialties. The sweets were by no means any less memorable. All in all an amazing experience. Thanks to Chris for the wonderful service we received! We highlighted it heavily on our Instagram account @havekidswilltraveluk as we were so impressed!

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very underwhelmed. Traveled around Ireland for ten days staying at 5 star hotels and this place was our only disappointment. Rooms are very tired and worn and bathrooms equal to a lower end hotel. Our shower pan was cracked and dirty with a long hair attached! No turndown service unless you ask. Everything just seemed like they were trying to be a 5 star hotel on a 3 star budget. Not sure how it gets so many 5 star reviews. Breakfast buffet was one slightly brighter spot.

Professional and welcoming, clean spacious and well designed. Lovely quite setting, with a lively bar & restaurant if required. Staff all pleasant, breakfast was well set out with a good selection of food.
