Guy at the front desk during check in was kinda rude. Everything else okay
I didn't expect the Hilton or anything but I expected at least a clean room. The bathroom had no baseboards and has big holes in th drywall. The walls had cracks throughout the bathroom. A lot of dirt/mold on the walls. White "stains" and cigarette holes on the overlay on the bed, spots of blood of sheets. Unsure exactly what was on the phone. And the carpet was stained horribly. I only stayed 1 night, and i stayed that one night because I was waiting on my husband to arrive ( he wasn't due to come in till 4am ) i had no where to go till he arrived. Again wasn't expecting anything special, just a clean room.
We had reserved a double Queen room & told by Orbitz that check in was at 3. We got there around then and were told by counter that check in wasn’t until 4. He then takes our info & told us room might not be clean yet, but he’d let us go check. So, instead of finding out which rooms were clean, we had to go up and see if someone was cleaning our room. We got one key for the two of us & when we got into our room, it was instead a king bed room with a hot tub. I don’t know if the guy at the counter made an assumption or what, but two friends don’t need a hot tub. There were mirrors bolted to the wall crooked and the toilet took forever to flush. All in all it was okay, but it was barely worth the money we spent to stay one night.
Staff was courteous, cleanliness was below par. B. F was so so.
The service was great! It was nice and quiet. My only concern was the cobwebs in the stairway.
It was ok, until the power went out. It was out for about 2 hours. Hard to believe a hotel doesn't have some sort of back up generator.
Nice hotel. Nice front desk staff. Easy to find from the highway.
It was alright for a last min choice and cheap price can’t rwally complain. However, wish they served breakfast longer.
I made a reservation at Monee Super 8 on my way to Champaign IL. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the bathroom toilet and the shower. I think that the shower head pressure was limited. I'm sure this is not the first complain about this but it was difficult to rinse off. The toilet and shower needed more cleaning. I could tell both had stains that could be easily removed with a bit of Ajax.
It was okay. Easy to get to. Towels and wash cloths appear to de dingy. This appears to be the same concern the last time I stayed there.
Hotel was well kept and worth the value. Staff was Friendly and helpful. Should over more fruit with the continental breakfast.
Everything was great except for the lady that was working the front desk. She wasn't inviting or friendly. She was borderline rude and seemed irritated when I checked in. Even though everything else was great; unfortunately, her attitude alone makes me question of I'll ever stay there again. I'm not sure if I'll even recommend this hotel to others either.
We stopped here on out way to Michigan. It was right off the interstate so that was nice, but the hotel that night cost us way more than what I would have liked to have paid. Very voncient location tho.
The ice machine was rusty around the dispensary. Lack iron board and iron in the room; Complimentary breakfast was okay; Staff was very friendly and helpful; The sink was missing the valve to hold water in the sink. The refrigerator and microwave was a +.
