An adequate one night stay motel on the route between Calgary and Vancouver. Cache Creek was suffering the effects of the wildfires whilst we were there, and we shared the motel with quite a few of the hard-working firefighters that had been called in. The room was satisfactory in all aspects apart from the cleaning (or lack of) the sink and bathtub. That could so easily have been better.
Needed a hotel in a hurry while on a long drive. No vacancies in Williams Lake so checked Cache Creek. Rooms were not cleaned properly. Hair on bathroom walls. Dust piled in corners. Strong smell of cleaner. I do realize the devastation of fires in area and evacuations nearby and how busy this motel must be, however, it just was not cleaned properly and I wonder if it ever is?
Surrounded by smoke and scorched land, we were happy to spend a night here. Amenities good in face of problems, and room was adequate and clean. Good parking, easy to access nearby restaurant/diner, and helpful reception.
Friendly host. Full of recommendations on where to get good food. Location is convenient, somewhat noisy being tight on the highway but was easy to find. Clean, air conditioner functional but a little noisy. Great stay.
This is a good and reasonable priced motel for a stopover, with a good location close to the highway. You get what you pay for. We arrived late and stayed there for one night. The room was clean and had air condition, a fridge, microwave and a coffemaker. Everything was functioning, it was a warm day and the air condition functioned well. It is a typical motel by the road. It is a little bit old motel, but for us it was good motel for a stopover. The rooms are bigg and four adults can stay there without any problems. We had a room on the ground floor and the parking is just outside the room. They have an outdoor pool, but that was closed for renovation. We ate breakfast at Chum's, that is just 2 minutes walk from the motel.
I did visit in June / July it was very hot in Cache Creek 35 degree Celsius! The hotel had Hot and cold water in shower, excellent internet connection, a good bed, AC (noisy so you need to cut it of during the night but efficient), a fridge and TV with thirty channels. Room was quite during the night no noise from the road. This hotel is well worth the money spent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was under renovation! Here are some advice regarding the near surrounding for grocery drive to the neighbor village Ashcroft for an excellent grocery store! Drive out of Ashcroft for wonderful views over the valley wait some time and a freight train will pass by in the valley. Pay a visit to to Clinton 40 km from Cache Creek!
Old facility, clean with friendly staff. All amenities worked, fridge, microwave, air conditioning. Good access to restaurants. In need of some upgrades but it is good value for the money. Location is great.
Between wall and cabinet was dirty, bathtub was badly worn, hot water came and went, air conditioner did not work. Would not stay here again. We would have left but it was 11pm and we just wanted to sleep. .
My wife and I stayed here on the way to Prince George at the end of June. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was firm. Great value for a no frills evening. Even the suggestion for where to eat was spot on.
Check in was fast and friendly. I was a little apprehensive, but when I opened the door to the room I was pleasantly surprised. This is a budget motel, but very clean and well maintained. We were traveling with a large group and everyone was OK with the accommodations. Would stay here again.
