The ice machine wasn't working, and they didn't have any back-up ice, which we needed to refill our cooler. We had a room that allowed pets, but the comforter on top of the bed was covered in pet hair. I would think these would be cleaned between customers. We also chose this hotel because it advertised a complimentary breakfast, and there wasn't one due to construction going on. This could have been advertised on the webpage. Also, the shower stall didn't have a ledge blocking the water from the shower, so there was water all over the bathroom floor that seeped into the hallway with carpeting on it. And finally, the toilet seat was not clean.

The hotel was under renovation, so the lobby area was unusable and there was not breakfast (or at least we didn't know where it was with everything torn up). We had a difficult time adjusting the room temp, it either got too hot or too cold. Our room was two doors down from the front desk, but because of the renovations, we had to enter through a side door and go through the halls to get back to our room. Once in the room, it was nice, no complaints. I'm sure if we return to the area after renovations are complete, we'd have a much nicer stay.

Room 135 in Joplin Mo. room was freezing cold heat was not on when I turned heat on it smelled like burnt feathers it took almost an hour with the room door open to get most of the smell out pillows were hard as rocks couldn’t find anyone to tell when I checked out we stayed there just a few days before and was very pleased with our stay that’s why we came back

The hotel is going through renovations so bare with the limited availability. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom could use a bit more attention too but overall very nice. The breakfast was lacking but Cracker Barrel is right around the corner. Will have to travel some to find restaurants and shopping. Didn’t get to see the pool so I don’t know if it was available. No microwave in room. Does come with a refrigerator. Employees were friendly and nice.
