Everyone was very nice and helpful.good restaurants close by.wevwill come back
On Tuesday, Feb. 21st my wife and I drove down to Joplin to attend the annual Ozark Christian College convention. We didn't get to Joplin until the 1:30 session and arrived at the hotel at 9:30 p.m.. We were greeted and welcomed and our room was waiting for us. The bed was most comfortable and we slept soundly. We were impressed at how neat and clean the hotel was with brand new carpet everywhere, walls repainted, and new bathroom fixtures. Breakfast was most adequate with a great variety. I had a bowlful of cereal and went back for another double helping of oatmeal. Wednesday at the College convention was a full day of uplifting sermons and workshops and sharing with dozens of friends we had not seen for years. Again we had a good night of sleep.and breakfast before leaving for the 270 mile drive home. As we were checking out the receptionist kindly said she hoped we could come back again next year and we are planning to. .
Just the basics. One small shampoo bottle for four people. Clean but worn.
Hotel was easy to get to from I-44. Easy check in and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and had the basics for a comfortable nights rest. They served a limited but delicious continental breakfast, that included hot biscuits and gravy. Coffee and ice always available in the break room. The only negative is thin walls, you can hear other tv's playing if the volume was turned up. One mile away is every restaurant from A-Z. If that is too far, Cracker Barrel and Fazolis is located in the same complex with in easy walking distance. Great value and location.
Overall stay was very excellent. .***** 5 stars from us!
breakfast is very lame but its a good value in a hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Microtel in Joplin. We got to the room late each evening as we attended the OBC Convention. It was comfortable and warm as we arrived. There was hardly any noise, as most of the guests were probably settled in before we arrived. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We used the luggage cart to transfer from the car to the room. Very Handy. Parking was adequate and close by. Breakfast each morning was ready at 6:00 and consisted of everything you might ask for, and plenty of it. Yes we would stay again at the last week of Feb. next year when the College once again schedules another convention.
Our stay was comfortable, room was generally clean, breakfast was good, and manager was very polite and hospitable.
The stay was comfortable and the staff were very accommodating.
Great hotel for the price! I just stayed one night since I was traveling through and it was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is below average, but everything else was good.
Over all we had a very nice stay. The pool was cold but the kids didn't seam to mind and if you just jumped in and got it over with it didn't seam to bother me as much. They only had one shower in the pool area and the water was cold as well. Our room was a little dusty but during our stay they did come in and take care of some of it. They are in the middle of remodeling the rooms so that could have been part of it.the girls that work at the front desk are amazing very friendly, the hotel owner wasn't to fond of my kids. My son dies have autism and ADHD and he wasn't very accepting of that. I kind of feel like he was picking on us. Housekeeping was nice and helpful.
Room was very comfortable and extremely nice and clean for the price.
Good hotel comfortable bed bad breakfast selection ended up just leaving and eating somewhere else. Everything else was fine. Good place to stay the night.
It wasn't the greatest hotel, but it was good enough for a one night stay. Any longer would've been too long.
I enjoyed the stay here. It was clean and comfortable. Small and cozy. Great value for the price. I never made it up in time to check out the breakfast but we enjoyed this affordable room.
The room was clean, I think. A previous guest let some toiletries for me. Thin walls made it hard to sleep around 5 am. Televion channels weren't accurate. Very minimal all the way around. Disappointed in my stay in general.
Front desk staff was very friendly. Mattresses were very comfortable. Overall room was clean except for the 1 inch gray border of dust around the edge of the entire floor. Housekeeping never replied when you said good morning in passing. The hallways of the entire hotel smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The INDOOR pool was closed for winter (November through March).
Economical, inexpensive. Clean enough for overnight stopover.
I've stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last 2.months on business lots of room for big trucks rooms are clean staff is very helpful an it's easy access highway will stay there when I'm in town
Staff was very nice. Room was spotless. No elevator, but only stayed on second floor. Got there and went to bed. Bed comfort was great.
