Four of us booked in for New Year’s Eve Gala. The rooms were on the Museum side with balcony. This would be lovely in summer. It was a large room with all facilities you might expect. Bathroom had lovely modern shower and separate bath. Robes & slippers provided. The evening had great entertainment and the band: ‘Little Black Dress’ made it. Food was good but not special enough compared to other places we have stayed. Same with breakfast. Staff were all excellent friendly and professional. Special well done to prompt housekeeping department.
We paid for 7 nights for 2 rooms non refundable but, due to storms, many ferries were cancelled and we could only stay 5 nights. we lost a lot of money but the manager we talked to refused to make any commercial gesture. We asked her to offer us our room service bill that represented 25¨% of what we lost but she refused, saying that because we had booked through expedia she couldn't do anything. But when expedia called the hotel to ask them to refund us for the non used nights, the hotel simply said: "NO". And the manager took my phone number to give it to the hotel manager for him to call me, a cll that i am still waiting... I am sure he'll never call me or contact me here! Now, the rooms: silver rooms really really small, with a small bathroom (no bathtub, just a shower), a small bed, a small blanket... Really too small to be comfortable. The room was quiet (absolutely no noise) but even on the 4th floor, we couldn't see the sky because the other building was too close from our windows. For all these reasons, we'll never go back there and tell our friends to do the same and to choose another hotel in St Helier.
Another excellent stay in the Royal Yacht the staff are so helpful and the Wine Cellar is a really great experience!! We stayed over the New Year break as a newly married couple with several others from the wedding party and the hotel helped make it a really special stay the added flowers and chocolates to our room and could not do anything enough for us!
We had a great stay at the hotel, the location puts it within great walking distance of a number of extractions. It enabled us to get around easily whilst enjoying the relaxing facilities as the hotel when the weather wasn't so great. Would definitely recommend it to others and we look forward to our next visit.
A hotel beautifully located. We enjoyed all the services including the spa which is a very pleasant area, the professionnalism and the welcome of the staff. We are looking for going back to the Royal Yacht hotel.
very pleasant looked after well overall very happy would use again ate in restaurant evening and breakfast both meals rooms not modern but acceptable , ideal for city break or central for business in St Hellier
We stayed here for two nights earlier this week and we cannot fault it. We booked a Gold Room and we were absolutely delighted with it. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, modern, excellent shower and bath and had a king size bed and even a small patio area with table and chairs. On our return each evening our duvet had been 'turned down and we had a chocolate on our pillow....a really nice touch. Breakfast was excellent. Good quality sausage and bacon, eggs cooked to order, continental breakfast too, large selection of cereals and fruit and yoghurt. The staff were all extremely friendly and polite. This is a delightful hotel without being pretentious and uncomfortable. We absolutely loved it and will be returning again in the spring.
Wonderful hotel with all the staff in festive mood which made for a great New Year’s Eve celebration party. As with our previous stays at this hotel it is impossible for us to find fault with anything.
Although a very nice hotel with friendly staff, de aware that if you book the basic double room, the room is very small with a standard double bed. The receptionist told me that it is often sold as a single. Apart from that I would certainly stay there again. Located in an excellent spot very near the main shopping street and restaurants.
Great Staff and Accommodation, could not fault it If you are looking for a St Heller located, smart modern style hotel, this is perfect. No parking is the only thing that I could fault, but there is a large car park 5 mins away so if you are hiring a car to get out and about, its no big deal to park there.
