Very good hotel. The rooms are comfortable and of a good standard. We had a gold deluxe room with a balcony and a view over Jersey Museum and a side view towards the harbour. The spa was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately our 11 year old son couldn't use the spa (you have to be age 16 or over) but the hotel gave us complimentary vouchers for the local aqua splash pool complex. It was much more suitable for our son as it had flumes, wave pool and a lazy river, all of which he really enjoyed. The hotel food was excellent and everywhere we went the staff were pleasant and helpful. I would love to stay in the Royal Yacht Hotel again.
We stayed here for a long weekend for our one year wedding anniversary and it was BRILLIANT! The spa is so stunning and relaxing, really top quality. We had breakfast every morning which was lovely and we ate in their restaurant downstairs for our anniversary dinner. The squid melted in your mouth! The best part of the stay was the service, the staff were great, really friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to accommodate any needs or small requests.
Lovely to see happy staff at the hotel. Everyone was very helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. The Royal Yacht ⛵ goes the extra mile when it comes to looking after their visitors which helped us to relax.
I can remember years ago, having to chase vanishing contentiental waiters for change but I thought this bad practice had died out as I hadn't encountered it for many years but I got caught out this time. So other than you might pay more than you should, which left a source taste, this is a nice place to sit outside with an expensive beer.
My wife and I stayed here as part of my 60th birthday celebrations, arriving on 25th of March. Owing to our flight time being brought forward from 9am to 6am we got to the hotel just after 8am. We had already asked if we could drop our bags off but were delighted when the receptionist said that our room was ready and we could check in. Being in, unpacked and sorted out before 9am was a great start to our break. The room (a Platinum Double) was very comfortable, a good size, and had a balcony with an excellent view over Liberation Square and the harbour. The bathroom was large and well equipped (tv over the bath was a nice touch) and had a brilliantly powerful shower, along with fluffy towels, cosy dressing gowns and good quality toiletries. The thing that really stood out for us was the staff. Everyone that we spoke to was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. There were, however, none of the over-zealous and slightly obsequious attentions that can sometimes come with this level of service. The spa was great (nice pool and excellent steam rooms), and the bars comfortable, lively, atmospheric and reasonably priced. All in all one of the best hotels we have stayed in; in Jersey and around the world.
Great place to watch the world go by. Reasonable prices and plenty of patio heaters for this time of year. The bar staff are very attentive and it feels like this is very much meeting lace central in St Helier.
Have just returned from three brilliant days in Jersey. The hotel is beautiful and all the staff so helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Stargazer suite which was just stunning; sitting in the jacuzzi overlooking Liberty square, watching the world go by, was so incredibly relaxing. Even though the weather was variable, we visited quite a few places. The hotel is in a perfect spot too. Thank you to all the staff we saw and to Carina (reservations) who patiently helped me decide which room to book; the suite most certainly lived up to my expectations and my only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! The last time we visited Jersey was 36 years ago - we definitely hope to be back. Thank you Royal Yacht for such a special visit.
Stayed here for a short break and have done so before but this time the location was on a lower floor which was not ideal. We could hear the music from the disco thump through the floor until the small hours which was not the best. We could even feel the pillows vibrating. Apart from that we had no other issues.
We stayed at the Royal Yacht over Easter in Gold rooms. Rooms were spotless and modern with mini bar, robes etc. There were 5 bars to choose from which ranged from extremely busy on the Saturday to quiet areas plus a residents bar. Bit of a miscommunication with our reservation for Easter Sunday lunch but they accommodated us and food was delicious. Spa area is really good with salt and aromatherapy steam rooms, sauna, foot Jacuzzi, and swimming pool all free to use for residents. Very friendly staff. Definitely looked the best hotel in St Helier
Great central location in st Helier with fab breakfast and nice restaurants. The club is fun and great for people watching. The breakfast was good and the breakfast chef is excellent and gets to know you. The rooms are spacious with coffee and tea making facilities. The restaurants are buzzy and fun.
